I hope you won't have any more regrets~ 10

Wan Ge expressed great satisfaction and then said, "Have you taken a shower? I'm about to take a shower and then go to bed."

"Yes, I've taken a shower."

"Then you go ahead and do your work, I'm going to take a shower."

Although Wan Ge said that, she didn't hang up the phone.

Ye Zhi didn't know if she was tempting him.

Ye Zhi didn't hang up; he put his phone down tightly and quickly finished dealing with his work.

When Wan Ge finished showering, Ye Zhi had also finished his work. Wan Ge looked at her phone and said, "Want to sleep together, honey?"

"Okay." Ye Zhi shut down the computer, left the study, and returned to their room.

Wan Ge lay in bed with him, and Ye Zhi listened quietly to her voice as she coaxed him to sleep. Surprisingly, he actually fell asleep.

At three o'clock in the morning, Ye Zhi suddenly woke up and touched the side next to him, only to find it empty.

Ye Zhi turned on the light, but his brows were still furrowed, and it was clear that he was not in a good mood.

Ye Zhi didn't know where the unease in his heart came from. He dreamed that his wife had someone else she liked, and then wanted to divorce him and left with another man.

Ye Zhi looked at his phone and vaguely remembered that he hadn't hung up the phone before he fell asleep. Now the phone wasn't responding, maybe it had run out of battery and shut down automatically.

He silently plugged his phone into the charger and then went out onto the balcony.

A cool night breeze caressed his face, but Ye Zhi seemed oblivious to the chill of the season as he quietly sat down on a chair on the balcony.

He didn't smoke, so he just sat there quietly, watching the distant lights and bustling city, still pondering the dream he had.

The dream was so real that for a moment he couldn't tell if it was real or not.

He didn't know why, even though they hadn't known each other for very long, he had already reached the point where he couldn't bear to lose her.

The matter of that dream remained unresolved. Ye Zhi thought of the young and handsome male actor in the film crew, whose feelings for his wife were quite obvious.

He wasn't there right now; what if he seduced his wife? No, he couldn't just wait like this.

Ye Zhi left the office halfway through the class.

Seeing that the president didn't turn around, the assistant swallowed the words he was about to say.

Ye Zhi went straight home and saw his grandfather pruning tree branches as he entered.

"Grandpa," Ye Zhi called out obediently.

The old man's face was full of smiles: "Why did you come back alone? Where's Wan Ge?"

Ye Zhi answered truthfully: "Wange has joined a film crew. Where's my dad?"

"He's in the back garden, what's wrong?" His grandson didn't often look for his son.

The old man hadn't noticed it before, but later he realized there was a rift between him and his son. However, his son wouldn't let him talk about it, and he didn't know when they would be able to reconcile.

The old man could only tell him that his father was actually very good to him, but Ye Zhi didn't seem to react much.

"I need to talk to him about something. I'll go see him now. I'll bring Wan Ge back to have dinner with you next time."

"Go ahead, go ahead." He knew his grandson was very busy with work and didn't have much time to spend with him, but his son was by his side, so the old man felt that it was actually okay and he wasn't lonely.
