I want to lead you to the light 15

"What do you think, Second Young Master?"

"Have I offended you in any way?" Young Master Xu still didn't understand why he was being targeted.

Wan Ge placed a stack of documents directly in front of him: "These are for my grandfather, right?"

Xu Ershao's expression changed slightly as she looked at the stack of documents on the floor. She hadn't expected the old man to be so direct in telling her, "So what if I gave them to you?"

"I don't want to do anything, but I'm very unhappy that Second Young Master Xu did such a thing. If I'm unhappy, I'll make the people who are unhappy with me just as unhappy."

Wan Ge calmly looked up and met the other person's gaze, her eyes showing no fear whatsoever. Her indifferent and composed demeanor made it seem as if she were discussing a trivial matter.

"You! I was just telling Grandpa the truth. I just like you and don't want you to have too much to do with other men. You know I've liked you for a long time, but you've never responded to me. You've never responded to me since we were little." When they were little, they played house and he would rather be the third brother's bride than his own. He always called him brother, but he didn't seem to treat him like a real brother or a romantic brother.

Her indifference towards him seemed to have started from childhood.

"I didn't respond to you when I was a child because I hated you, and I don't respond to you now because I still hate you now."

How could a child think so much? Clearly, Second Young Master Xu is a bit older than both her and Third Young Master Xu. Children often admire their older brothers who are a few years older than them.

However, the original owner didn't feel that way about the person in front of her. She had never liked getting close to him since she was a child, and only called him "brother" out of politeness.

Children may not understand all the intricacies of human relationships, but they can intuitively sense who is genuinely good to them and who isn't.

Although Xu Ershao kept saying he liked her, all she felt was an uncomfortable closeness. He didn't like her at all; he had ulterior motives towards her.

"You!" Young Master Xu was shocked that the other party would speak so directly. His face turned pale and then red. Finally, he said through gritted teeth, "Are you trying to oppose the Xu family?"

Wan Ge glanced at him again and replied, "No, it's your Xu family that decides whether or not to oppose me."

The Xu family has no shortage of children; they have three children on the surface, all of whom are half-brothers.

Besides the three women he publicly acknowledged, Mr. Xu had also remarried after his divorce. Elsewhere, he had many mistresses and illegitimate children.

Even if the first and third sons are not up to the task, Mr. Xu can always find someone suitable to sit in the position that the second son is in right now.

The gap between the Xu family and the Ye family is still quite large, and Wan Ge is quite certain that the Xu family will not oppose her.

To be honest, if the other party hadn't come to her and she hadn't said those things, Wange wouldn't have considered doing anything further. Taking away some of their business was just a simple act of revenge, but she didn't expect them to come knocking on her door and say such things, so she figured she should take a few more steps.

Upon hearing this, Young Master Xu took a step back: "Wange, we grew up together. Even if we don't like each other, we still have a bond from growing up together. Can you really bear to push me to the brink? Are you really going to do this to me for a man you've only known for a short time?"

"It wasn't like that before, but it is now."
