I'm Not Going to Be a Villainous Supporting Character (27)

Sitting on the sofa, Madam Rong looked at Rong Nian and saw that his complexion was getting better and better, and he was no longer as thin as before. She was very satisfied. Perhaps letting him leave back then was really a good thing.

She could also sense that the other person wasn't as resistant to her as before: "Great, that's great, our Niannian is getting more and more handsome."

Wan Ge was also confused by the scene before him. He could clearly sense that Madam Rong had no ill intentions towards Rong Nian, and it seemed that she liked him from the bottom of her heart.

So why did Rong Nian become the same as when she first met him?

Rong Nian's cheeks flushed slightly as she softly said, "My sister has taken very good care of me."

Wan Ge shook her head again: "No, it's obvious that Nian Nian has taken very good care of me."

Madam Rong seemed to sense it as well, and that the two were supporting each other: "You two are taking very good care of each other."

They chatted for a while longer before Rong Nian went to the kitchen to see her father and then helped out there.

Wan Ge and Madam Rong glanced at each other. Madam Rong's eyes were full of relief. Wan Ge looked at him and said softly, "I wonder if I can have a chat with you?"

Madam Rong probably realized what Wan Ge wanted to talk to her about, so she immediately nodded and followed Wan Ge out of the kitchen.

As the two walked in the garden, Wan Ge inquired about Rong Nian's past and mentioned that when she first met him, he had fainted due to low blood sugar from not eating for a long time.

When Madam Rong heard this, tears welled up in her eyes and fell again.

Only then did he begin to tell Wan Ge about Rong Nian's past.

Although Mr. Rong and Rong Nian's mother's marriage was initially a business arrangement, they later developed feelings for each other, which led to the birth of Rong Nian.

However, Rong Nian's mother was always in poor health and eventually passed away when he was seven years old.

At that time, Mr. Rong not only had to deal with his mother's funeral, but also had a lot of things to do at the company. He was so busy that he couldn't take care of his children.

The child, experiencing separation for the first time, became trapped.

Furthermore, the servants in the Rong family were very principled, and no one would confide in him or offer him guidance. This led to him becoming increasingly withdrawn and isolated, and he began to exhibit mental health issues, with his loss of appetite being just one manifestation of this.

They don't like to eat, are unwilling to interact with others, and even have suicidal thoughts.

By the time Mr. Rong discovered it, it was too late. Mr. Rong thought that the child's condition was caused by a lack of companionship, so he tried his best to stay by his child's side while working very hard.

Rong Nian, being a kind-hearted child, didn't want his father to worry about him, so he acted as if everything was normal, allowing Mr. Rong to finally focus on his work with peace of mind.

Later, some people suggested that Mr. Rong could remarry, since Rong Nian was only eight years old at the time and lacked his mother's company, which would be a loss for him.

So Mr. Rong married his current wife. Mrs. Rong had liked Mr. Rong for many years, but she had never expressed her feelings because of many things. After learning about Mr. Rong's thoughts, she took the initiative to visit him and wanted to be with him.

She also vowed to take good care of Rong Nian, as she really liked him and had been doing her best to take care of him.

Rong Nian treated him very well, and apart from always calling her "Auntie," there seemed to be nothing inappropriate about it.
