Wan Ge continued with a smile, replying, "It's not impossible."
"You!" Yan Jue grabbed her chin and kissed her directly, kissing her until she was completely powerless before letting her go.
…
After finishing the meal, Yan Jue put the dishes and chopsticks into the dishwasher before walking step by step toward the girl on the sofa.
Wan Ge suddenly sensed danger and stood up abruptly.
"Trying to run away?" Yan Jue grabbed him and pulled him into his arms: "Don't even think about getting out of bed tomorrow."
After saying that, he picked the person up.
…
Wan Ge had just fallen asleep when the space next to her became empty. She struggled to regain her senses and asked, "Are you going to work already?"
Yan Jue hummed in agreement: "I have something important to take care of in the morning, so I'll probably be back around noon. You should get some sleep. I don't have to work tomorrow, so I can go out with you."
"Okay." After answering, Wange drifted off to sleep again.
Yan Jue sighed. He had tried to restrain himself, but he was completely helpless in front of him; all his self-control had vanished.
Yan Jue kissed her forehead again: "See you at noon, my little kitten."
…
After finishing her business, Yan Jue glanced at the time and saw that it was past eleven o'clock. She originally wanted to go straight home, but then she suddenly remembered the restaurant that Wan Ge liked to eat at, so she went there first.
Unexpectedly, she ran into Wan Ge's ex-boyfriend at that shop. Although Wan Ge had many ex-boyfriends, Yan Jue remembered them all.
This time, however, he encountered a notorious playboy.
Young Master Chen never expected to meet Yan Jue here. Who was Yan Jue? Even his grandfather treated him with utmost respect.
"Mr. Yan, what a coincidence," Young Master Chen greeted him.
Yan Jue simply nodded indifferently; his aura was indeed intimidating.
Young Master Chen was somewhat at a loss, and awkwardly brought up a topic: "By the way, I heard that you and Wan Ge are together."
It's no secret that Wan Ge and Yan Jue are together; they were even photographed going out on a date together before.
Yan Jue simply gave a curt "hmm."
Young Master Chen seemed to suddenly understand where the other party's inexplicable hostility towards him came from.
So Mr. Chen explained, "Actually, I didn't have much contact with Wan Ge. We never even hugged. We were only together for a few days when she broke up with me because she was busy with graduation. We didn't even go on dates. So you don't need to worry about this."
"Is that so?" The frightening aura emanating from Yan Jue instantly diminished considerably.
Young Master Chen nodded frantically; it really was because of Wan Ge's matter.
Finally, Young Master Chen looked at Yan Jue in front of him, hesitated, but didn't say anything more. He said he wouldn't disturb him anymore and then led the people around him to the private room.
Yan Jue no longer paid any attention to the other party and left with the packed food.
…
I woke up completely around dusk, and only vaguely remembered that I had eaten lunch at noon.
When she tried to get out of bed, she found her whole body ached and her legs were trembling. In the end, she decided to give up and simply stay in bed.
Yan Jue said she'd make sure she couldn't get out of bed today, and she really meant it.
"You're awake." Yan Jue put down the book in his hand and walked over to the person.
"Aren't you sleepy at all?" I only slept for less than two hours this morning before going to work and not getting back until noon.
