Jiang Jin - Modern Era Chapter 20

Having been in this world for three months, this was the first time Wan Ge had gone out shopping alone, except for the first day.

Unlike the tension and anxiety she felt on the first day, Wan Ge was much more composed and calm when she went out now. However, time and understanding still differed, so Wan Ge still had a great deal of curiosity about many things.

There is a large shopping mall near Jiang Jin's company, which has all kinds of luxury brands. Wan Ge is not actually very interested in luxury goods; she just wants to try going out for a stroll alone.

She felt that one of the best things about this world was that women didn't need to wear straw hats; they could do whatever they wanted, pursue what they liked, and fight for it. The world was almost fair in many ways, and it was much more tolerant of women than her world.

Wange stood in a well-known milk tea shop and ordered milk tea. She didn't really know if it tasted good or not, she just wanted to try it. She had seen it on that app before and just wanted to give it a try.

She opened her phone to pay, and then waited. Before long, a warm cup of milk tea was ready.

Wan Ge took a sip and found it very sweet, with both milky and tea aromas, although the tea leaves were probably not of very high quality. However, the taste was very novel, something she had never had before, and overall she felt it was quite good.

She was holding a milk tea while strolling around, just like other girls.

As I passed a bag store, I heard some arguing.

Then Wan Ge saw a young woman push an old man.

Wan Ge quickly helped the older woman up, and looking at the young woman in front of her, Wan Ge asked with displeasure, "What are you doing?"

The woman sized up Wan Ge. She was wearing a brand she had never seen before. Although it was quite nice and Wan Ge had an outstanding presence, she guessed it was some obscure brand that she had never seen before.

"Who are you? What's it to you?"

"Little girl, it's you!" Before Wan Ge could answer, the middle-aged woman who was being helped by Wan Ge spoke up.

"Auntie, we meet again." Wan Ge looked at the old woman in front of her and remembered that she had almost run a red light.

She now knows about traffic lights, but she didn't know on her first day in this world. She almost ran a red light, but luckily this old lady stopped her.

Because of this, Wan Ge had a deep impression of this old lady.

The older woman recognized the young girl immediately because she was so beautiful. Although she was dressed in a traditional Chinese style that day, her appearance hadn't changed much; she still looked the same, only her style had changed.

"What happened to the old lady? Why did she push you?"

The woman then remembered what had happened and looked at the shop assistant in front of her: "I already said I would compensate you. You're just a young girl, don't say such nasty things."

Then he explained to Wan Ge why he had argued with the shop assistant.

The older woman noticed that many young girls liked these designer bags, and since her granddaughter's birthday was coming up soon, she went into the store to buy one for her.

While she was looking at the bag, a child bumped into her, causing her to knock a very valuable bag off the shelf and onto the ground. The bag fell directly from the height, causing some minor scratches.
