Jiang Jin: Modern Era Part 4

Jiang Jin lowered his head and explained softly to her, "This is called a cell phone. You can use it to contact people and make payments. Of course, it has other uses as well. I'll teach you how to use it later."

Wan Ge nodded obediently again. That's great! With her husband by her side, she no longer felt so lost. She instantly felt like she had found her pillar of support.

To be honest, in the original world, Wan Ge didn't rely on Jiang Jin much; on the contrary, Jiang Jin was very attached to her. But now, she felt completely unfamiliar with this world.

Jiang Jin patted her head, then answered her other question: "Husband doesn't need to pay because this shop belongs to husband."

"My husband is so amazing!" I don't know how long my husband has been here, but it seems like he has completely adapted to life here.

Wan Ge was actually completely unaccustomed to it, but with her husband by her side, she was no longer afraid of facing this unfamiliar world.

Jiang Jin looked at the rain, which had stopped, and saw that the streets were not dark because they were lit up.

Jiang Jin then said to the people around him, "I've never told you this, but I'm actually from this world. I ended up in that world by accident."

Wan Ge was stunned when she heard this sentence. So? So she was the same as him? He went to his world, and she came to his world.

"So don't be afraid. Your husband knows the rules of this world, and he can protect you just like he did in that world."

"Okay." Wan Ge nodded, not feeling anything was wrong with it.

That's good. My husband is a citizen of this world, and he understands its rules. He won't feel like a stranger in this world.

After dinner, Jiang Jin took Wan Ge home, but not to the old house, but to one of his villas here.

As Wan Ge stepped into the villa and looked at the exquisitely decorated house before her, she exclaimed, "My husband's house here is so big!"

It looked incredibly valuable. Although Wan Ge didn't know much about this world, based on her observations over the day, her husband's living conditions in this world must be quite good, given that he lived in such a large house and had a restaurant.

"It will all be yours in the future, everything I own will be yours."

Wan Ge believed him, after all, the other person had spent his whole life proving it.

They were a couple who had spent their whole lives together, so Wan Ge didn't hold back in any way.

Lying on the soft, large bed, she said, "Husband, this bed is so soft! It feels so comfortable, even softer than the beds we slept on before."

"I'm glad you like it. Go take a shower first. I've already had someone prepare some clothes for you." Jiang Jin placed the several bags he was carrying on the table.

Those were clothes that my assistant prepared when I went out to eat. They were mostly one-size-fits-all clothes, including pajamas, dresses, and of course, some personal items.

The assistant Jiang Jin contacted was an outstanding woman. She was originally his mother's assistant, but because of her excellent abilities and that she was a long-time employee, he kept her by his side.

This assistant auntie seemed to treat him like a son, and often brought him soup she had made herself.

Wan Ge nodded again, behaving like a good little girl.

Jiang Jin knew very well that Wan Ge was completely unfamiliar with modern equipment.

Wan Ge found the faucet amazing, and then the shower. When Wan Ge touched the warm water, she couldn't help but marvel at how wonderful and convenient it was, without having to fetch or boil water.
