Little apprentice, don't be afraid!

The sect leader could see that Wan Ge had a special fondness for Su Han, after all, he had raised Su Han since he was a child. The sect leader actually cultivated the Path of Ruthlessness, which he himself did not understand, but he agreed with it.

I agree with other people's behavior and methods, but none of that matters. What matters is that Wan Ge's unique cultivation method cannot be left without a successor. What if one day my senior sister ascends to immortality, and no one in this world will know how he cultivated?

Wan Ge frowned slightly, then immediately replied to the sect leader before him, "My affairs are none of your concern, junior brother."

"Senior Sister!" The sect leader called out to her with even greater emphasis.

Wan Ge immediately turned to look at him: "What else do you want to say? Is there anything else?"

“I still think you should take on another apprentice.”

Wan Ge shook her head at him: "I've said it before, one disciple is enough for me in this life. As for the other one, who said he's a useless person? He's been able to take me to such a level before, and he'll only surpass that in the future."

The sect leader opened his mouth, but in the end, he didn't continue speaking. He didn't want to annoy his senior sister, so he just sighed and left.

Su Han didn't listen to the rest of their conversation. When he heard the sect leader make that suggestion to his master, he didn't dare to listen anymore, so he went straight back to his room and closed the door.

Chi Ni stood outside the door, looking puzzled. He couldn't understand why the person who had gone out perfectly fine seemed different after returning.

Chi Ni wanted to ask what had happened, and just as he raised his hand to knock on the door, he remembered that Chi Ni was probably annoyed and didn't want to see him at all, so he silently lowered his hand in the end.

About half an hour later, Wan Ge returned from outside carrying a food box.

Chi Ni could smell the delicious aroma of peach blossom pastries as soon as he stood at the door. He had eaten one of these pastries before; it was when Wan Ge made peach blossom pastries for Su Han that she handed him one as well.

Just thinking about the peach blossom pastries made by Wan Ge herself made Chi Ni's mouth water.

Wan Ge watched as Chi Ni was locked out again, it seemed that Chi Ni had upset his little apprentice once more.

Noticing the other person staring at the food box in her hand, she asked, "Want some?"

The red lion nodded without hesitation: "I won't give you any."

Wan Ge's cold face brooked no refusal. She took the box and walked directly to Su Han's room. After knocking and receiving permission, she entered his room.

When Su Han faced his master, he had already adjusted his mindset. He originally wanted to tell his master that if his master wanted to take on another disciple, then so be it, but... his mind was filled with scenes of the days he spent alone with his master.

In the end, Su Han didn't say anything about finding another apprentice. She simply accepted the peach blossom pastry he offered.

"Ahan, why do I feel like you're a little different?" Wan Ge couldn't quite put her finger on what was wrong, and why was Chi Ni suddenly so weak? What exactly happened between them?

Su Han realized that he had been hiding his cultivation level at this moment because he originally wanted to give his master a surprise, but he overheard the conversation between the sect leader and his master, so he subconsciously concealed his current situation.

The thought that popped into my head was: if Master thought he was always injured, would Master continue to take care of him and stop looking for Junior Brother?
