My sister chose me; I'm better than all of them (6, 7, 8).

As soon as she arrived at the company, someone immediately came up to her. Wange recognized the person; he was one of her father's assistants.

"Young Miss, you've finally arrived."

Wan Ge gave a curt "hmm": "Where is the office the old man arranged for me?"

"I'll take you upstairs right now." The assistant said, letting out a sigh of relief. He was relieved that the young lady had finally arrived; he had thought she wasn't coming. If she really hadn't come, he wouldn't have known how to explain himself.

“Okay.” Wan Ge followed behind him. Many people came and went, looking her over, but perhaps because of the person in front of her, no one dared to come up and ask her anything.

They only saw a beautiful woman and followed Assistant Gao to the administration department.

Wan Ge glanced at the office sign in front of her: Deputy Manager's Office.

After giving it a cold glance, Wan Ge asked again, "Who is the general manager?"

The assistant started sweating at the question, hesitated for a moment, and then answered, "He is your younger brother."

"Duan Wanyuan?"

"Yes...yes..." the assistant replied, lowering his head.

Wan Ge didn't mean to make things difficult for him; she simply said she understood and let him leave.

Hearing this, Assistant Gao breathed a sigh of relief, and then immediately said, "Then I'll head back now. If Miss has any questions, please feel free to come and find me."

After waving her hand to indicate that the other person could leave, Wan Ge went straight into the office.

The office environment and conditions looked very good, with a lot of things inside that looked expensive. However, this office didn't really look like an office; it was more like a lounge.

It was equipped with the most complete computers, and there were lots of snacks. The books on the bookshelf were all chosen according to her preferences, and there were also various leisure instruments.

If you didn't know better, you'd think this was a lounge rather than an office, and the things on the desk weren't documents but company information.

It was well past working hours, and people outside had already started their workdays.

Wan Ge has already realized that the other party didn't seem to want her to do anything after letting her join the company; they just wanted her to slack off.

Wan Ge put down the company brochure she was holding, then left the office and went to the restroom.

However, while in the restroom stall, I overheard some discussions outside.

"Who was that person that Assistant Gao brought with him today? Why did they go straight to the deputy manager's office?"

"Yes, who is that person? Shouldn't the deputy manager be our Sister Chi? Why is there a strange woman here? And there was no prior notice."

"Alright, that's enough. It must be what the higher-ups mean."

"We just feel it's unfair to Sister Chi. Sister Chi worked so hard to get the opportunity for promotion, and now this woman has been parachuted in out of nowhere."

Just as the other person finished speaking, a voice came from behind.

"If you're angry, you can quit. Nobody's forcing you to stay here."

Wan Ge is not one to swallow her anger; when someone says that to her face, how can she not respond?

The other party saw Wan Ge through the block and their expression changed slightly. The woman called Sister Chi immediately spoke up again: "Deputy Manager, please don't mind. They just know me for a long time and have a good relationship with me. They don't mean anything by it."

"Oh? Really? What does that have to do with me?"

Wan Ge turned her gaze directly to the person who had just spoken: "Instead of worrying about how others were parachuted in, you should put your energy into your work. Otherwise, even if you don't leave, someone else will make you leave."

After finishing her speech, Wan Ge washed her hands and left, leaving the people in the restroom looking at each other in bewilderment.

The woman who had just been talked about instantly had tears welling up in her eyes.

Seeing her like this, Sister Chi comforted her, saying, "Alright, stop crying. What she said is actually true. We don't need to dwell on how she was parachuted in. Just do our own thing."

"Okay, I understand, Sister Chi."

Not long after Wan Ge returned to her office, someone informed her that she would be attending a meeting later.

Wan Ge nodded, watched her assistant leave without saying a word, took out her phone, and opened the game.

After the game ended, it was time for the meeting, so she went straight to the meeting place.

Sitting in the chair was her half-brother, Duan Wanyuan.

Upon seeing her enter, he introduced her to everyone: "This is our new deputy manager, please welcome her."

After Duan Wanyuan finished speaking, applause rang out in the conference room. Wan Ge nodded and sat down in her seat: "Weren't we supposed to have a meeting? Let's begin."

The others felt a little uneasy seeing Wan Ge ignoring Duan Wanyuan. They all knew that Duan Wanyuan was President Duan's son and the future heir of the group. How could Wan Ge ignore him like that? Just who was she?

"Yes, let's start the meeting right away."

Throughout the entire meeting, Wan Ge remained silent until after the meeting ended, when Duan Wanyuan finally asked her, "Does Deputy Manager Duan have any other opinions?"

Wan Ge snorted coldly. The first proposal had flaws, their data compilation was not clear enough, and the details were not done well enough.

Wan Ge looked at the few people who had lowered their heads: "You can't do your jobs well and you only talk behind people's backs. With you guys around, the Duan family will go under sooner or later."

"Sis, what did you say? What do you mean by talking about people behind their backs?" Duan Wanyuan asked, looking puzzled.

Wan Ge looked at him and said directly, "Don't call me sister. Also, I suggest that Manager Duan should carefully examine the character and work attitude of the employees first. I have something to do, so I'll be leaving first."
