Sister, you can only be my 1, 2, 3, 4.

Nan Jinghe clenched his fist, his face still showing a strong sense of resentment.

His father made him compromise for the sake of profit, but he had no idea how much that woman really liked him.

If she persists, she will soon regret it, and so will her father.

So he took out his phone again and sent a message to his father: "If you don't want to come back, then don't come back. If you don't want to acknowledge me, then I will never come back to the Nan family again."

After Nan Jinghe finished speaking, he immediately blocked his father's number.

He never actually intended to leave the Nan family, but he always believed that Wan Ge loved him very much and couldn't live without him, so he was convinced from the bottom of his heart that Wan Ge would definitely regret agreeing to annul the engagement.

As soon as he regrets it, his father will immediately beg him to go back.

He was also well aware of how many illegitimate children his father had, and the reason he was the only one who was born out of wedlock was because his mother was his first wife, and also because of his marriage agreement with the Duan family.

However, he had very little contact with Wan Ge, and since he already had someone he liked, he was naturally unwilling to agree to a marriage alliance.

If it weren't for the need to inherit the Nan family business, he would have proposed breaking off the engagement long ago.

Mr. Nan saw the message his son had sent him, and after listening to the voice message, he was furious. How dare his son talk to him like that?

Without a second thought, he immediately ordered all of Nan Jinghe's cards to be suspended, and at the same time, he ordered an investigation into what exactly happened tonight.

He was very worried that Wan Ge would really break off the engagement. Over the years, the benefits he had gained from her had brought the entire Nan family back to life, so he absolutely could not lose such a protector.

Nan Jinghe was still sulking, while Wan Ge had already led her people out of the banquet hall and arrived at a restaurant with a very nice view.

Looking at the night view outside the window, Wan Ge handed the menu to Chu Ji: "Take a look and see what you want to eat."

Chu Ji flipped through the menu, selected his favorite dishes, and then handed the menu to Wan Ge.

Wan Ge wasn't hungry at all; she just ordered a simple dish to keep the person in front of her company.

After ordering, Wan Ge looked at the person in front of her and asked, "Did you come alone?"

Chu Ji nodded obediently.

Seeing his expression, Wan Ge asked again, "Do your parents know you're here?"

As soon as Wan Ge finished asking the question, the other person lowered his head. Seeing his reaction, Wan Ge understood everything. "You didn't tell your parents."

The evening song uses affirmative sentences.

Chu Ji lowered his head even further, feeling guilty, and replied with a wronged tone, "If I had told them, they wouldn't have let me come."

Wan Ge felt a little helpless. Hearing his words, she replied softly, "Your parents don't let you go out alone for your own good, especially since you're in such a faraway place. Do you know how dangerous that is?"

"There's no danger at all. I've had bodyguards with me all along, and I'm safely standing in front of you now, aren't I?"

"You were lucky this time and didn't encounter anyone with malicious intentions towards you. What if you're not so lucky next time? What if you have an accident alone in a foreign country? Who do you think could save you?"

Chu Ji looked at Wan Ge pitifully again, and then answered her, "I believe my sister will find me. Didn't my sister say she would protect me forever?"

Wan Ge said with a hint of helplessness, "This is a one-time exception. Even if you want to come to me, you have to tell me in advance so I can be prepared."

Nan Jinghe nodded obediently: "I understand. I'll definitely tell you in advance next time. I just wanted to surprise you."

Wan Ge playfully flicked his nose: "This isn't a surprise, it's a real fright! What would your parents and I do if something happened to you?"

"I will take good care of myself, nothing will happen."

Anyway, I said this is the first time.

"Okay, this won't happen again."

After finishing dinner with his friends, Chu Ji also went to Wan Ge's house.

Chu Ji observed the old house where Wan Ge was currently living. The entire style was antique, with artificial hills and flowing water, green bricks and tiles. This style was rarely seen in Y country, but it was an ancient building style that had been passed down in H country.

"Is this my sister's house? It's so beautiful."

Wan Ge replied, "Yes, this is our family's old house. Now it's just me and my grandma living here. But my grandma recently made plans to go abroad with her friends. She probably won't be back for at least ten days to two weeks."

Ten days to half a month is a conservative estimate. Given the old man's love of fun and shopping, it might take several months for him to come back.

"Can I live with my sister? I want to live here too."

Actually, he didn't want to live here; he just wanted to live in a place with evening songs.

"Of course, I brought you home so you could stay here. I'll let you choose a room later."

"Okay." Chu Ji nodded obediently and handed his luggage to the maid beside him.

Because it was getting late, Wange didn't have a proper chat with him. After showing him the room, she prepared to go to sleep first and talk about other things the next day.

Just as Wan Ge was about to leave his room, Chu Ji suddenly spoke up: "Sister, was that person your fiancé today? I never knew you had a fiancé."

"Yes, the engagement was arranged two years ago. At that time, my grandmother was in poor health and wanted me to get married, so the engagement was arranged to appease her."

The reason they hadn't gotten married before was partly because Wan Ge wasn't interested, and partly because Nan Jinghe hadn't achieved much at the company. Therefore, the engagement had been delayed until now.
