Sister, you can only be my 26, 27, and 28.

Wan Ge had to admit that the other person was right; her period was indeed very punctual, almost always arriving on the same day every month.

But for some reason, I have a bad feeling this time.

Sure enough, when her period was due, Wan Ge didn't get it.

She figured that a slight delay shouldn't be a problem, so she didn't think much of it.

Half a month later, there was still no sign of Wan Ge coming.

Chu Ji began to worry that his presence might have caused her health problems.

So Chu Ji took her to get checked out. After asking Wan Ge a few questions, the doctor recommended that she get a checkup to see if she was pregnant.

Wan Ge was momentarily stunned, then took the examination report and went to get tested.

When Wan Ge saw her pregnancy test results, she suddenly remembered that they hadn't taken any precautions and the pregnancy was normal.

Chu Ji looked at the test results and remained silent for a moment. In the end, the two of them quietly returned to the doctor's office.

The doctor asked them if they wanted children, and then advised them to pay attention to their diet and avoid strenuous exercise.

Then I told them that if they wanted to have children, they should go to the obstetrics department for checkups.

Wan Ge nodded and then left the hospital.

She was still in a daze after getting into the car, and her hand instinctively touched her stomach; she was pregnant.

Her parents left when she was very young, and she was sent abroad for treatment because she was sick when she was young.

Because her great-uncle's family wanted to fight over the family property, her grandmother was worried and kept her abroad, so she always felt rather lonely.

Now that there is a life connected by blood, Wan Ge never thought of abandoning him, but she was just unprepared and still a little slow to react.

Chu Ji's fingertips trembled: "We...have a child?"

There was a hint of disbelief in his voice; he and his sister actually had a child, and they had a child so quickly.

Looking at him, Wan Ge answered directly, "I want to give birth to the child."

"Okay." Chu Ji thought to himself: Of course, he and his sister's child should be born.

At the same time, he was in a particularly good mood. He and his sister had a child, and they had formed a bond that they could never break free from for the rest of their lives.

Wan Ge didn't think too much about it at the time. Seeing that Chu Ji was just as shocked and excited as she was, she figured he must be just as looking forward to the arrival of their child as she was.

Two days after learning of the pregnancy, the other party stopped going to the company and was nowhere to be seen. Wange began to wonder if the other party didn't want the child.

But it's okay, if he doesn't want children, he can raise the child himself in the future.

But... the thought that the other party didn't want children made Wan Ge feel inexplicably uncomfortable.

On the evening of the third day, Chu Ji walked in from outside the door with a few pieces of paper in his hand.

Wan Ge immediately asked, "Where did you go? What did you do?"

Chu Ji turned his gaze to her, immediately walked to her side, and found that she was not wearing shoes. He knelt down and placed his shoes on her feet.

"The floor is cold, how can you not wear shoes?"

"What have you been doing these past few days?" Wange asked him in return.

Chu Ji handed the paper in his hand to Wan Ge: "I'm going to do a work report. I want to stay by your side, so I need to have a stable and reasonable job now in order to apply for a long-term residence permit."

"What about your school?" Wange took the application form he handed her. It wouldn't be difficult for him to have a long-term, stable job here, and at least a senior management position.

After all, the Chu family's business spans the globe, with branches in different countries. He only needed to make a phone call to get the job information. It took a few days, probably just to prepare materials and such.

"I'll apply for leave of absence when they start work tomorrow. I'll stay by your side and take care of you. Don't worry about your studies. I can apply for a leave of absence and go back whenever I want. Or I can just take the exams."

After all, with his family's influence, getting a diploma would be a piece of cake. Moreover, he is already extremely outstanding in his professional field, so he doesn't need to worry about exams at all. He can just work on his thesis and he'll have almost no worries.

Even if the school were to dismiss him, he wouldn't care, because in his eyes nothing was more important than Wan Ge.

Actually, he never intended to leave this time. He had long been prepared to come here and spend the rest of his life with the person he loved.

Before, I was thinking about what excuse I should use to stay, but now I don't need to make any excuses anymore.

When Wan Ge heard his idea, she nodded and said, "Okay, then you can stay here with me."

Chu Ji kissed her forehead: "After everything is settled tomorrow, I will accompany you no matter what you want to do."

As for his work at the company, he doesn't need to go to work every day. He only needs to deal with company issues occasionally, since his expertise and interests don't lie there.

"Mmm." Wan Ge let the other person pick her up, and she breathed a sigh of relief when she realized what he was doing. After all, she had even thought that he didn't want children, but now that she found out that he didn't have that idea, she naturally felt relieved.

Because the baby came unexpectedly, they decided to hold the wedding first and then get the marriage certificate later when Chu Ji was old enough.

The Chu family had no objections whatsoever. Mrs. Chu was even happy to hear that they had a child and urged her children to hurry up and hold the wedding.
