The ADC pro of the villainous support class 25

"What is this?" Wange took the thing he handed her, but hadn't opened it yet.

Ye Zhiling replied softly, "This is all my property."

After saying that, he silently watched Wan Ge open the app.

Wan Ge had known for a long time that he had left the Ye family and hadn't taken any of the Ye family's assets. He hadn't even taken the house, so he had been living in the house she had bought for him.

Wan Ge subconsciously felt that Ye Zhiling would be very poor now, but she didn't care; she could afford to support her. Especially after the mermaid-designed clothing came out, there would be plenty of opportunities for promotion and salary increases.

But she never expected Ye Zhiling to be so rich. Even without the Ye family's wealth, his personal assets far surpassed hers.

"These are all the money I've saved up since I became an adult and started making money and investing. They'll all be yours in the future."

Wan Ge held the transfer agreement, passbook, and bank card, glanced at Ye Zhiling, and then put everything down: "Ye Zi, why are you so eager to sever ties with your family?"

It's clear that his relationship with his parents isn't very good, but it shouldn't have escalated to the point of complete breakdown, right? So why is Ye Zhiling in such a hurry to sever ties with his family?

Ye Zhiling paused for a moment, looked at her lover, and spoke after a long while: "I was born because of my brother, so my parents didn't like me. Before my brother found a suitable kidney donor when he was ten years old, I was just a vessel to my parents."

My older brother always thought that my parents weren't close to me because they felt they had him to take care of them. In his eyes, they were just irresponsible parents.

But I know the reason they don't get close to me is because they're worried that if they really develop feelings for me, they won't be able to let me go.

Ye Zhiling sighed, her face not showing much sadness: "My brother has been very healthy since his kidney transplant, and I finally don't need to be a vessel anymore. But they haven't changed much towards me, though I don't need to anymore."

I was only five years old when I was told that I was just a vessel. For a while, I hated my older brother, but as I grew older, I realized that he was actually being kept in the dark, and that I was indeed raised by him, so I stopped resenting him.

"I just don't want to have much to do with the Ye family anymore. Apart from my brother, everyone else is too unfamiliar to me."

Wan Ge reached out and hugged her husband tightly: "It's okay. If your parents don't love you, I do, and my parents do too."

"I'm so happy and blessed to have met you." Ye Zhiling hugged Wan Ge tightly.

He wasn't without resentment and confusion; he once thought he couldn't get over it all. Even though he ultimately suffered no physical harm, the emotional damage he inflicted was indeed extreme.

It wasn't until Wan Ge appeared that he found a real home and a different life, and only then did he begin to truly let go.

Wan Ge had a nightmare that night. In the dream, teenage Zhi Ling was lying on a cold operating table, while on another operating table next to him lay an adult, Ye Shaolin, who bore a resemblance to him.

Ye Shaolin recovered very well, but Ye Zhiling's health gradually deteriorated after that surgery. She often had high fevers and eventually passed away in less than two years.

The Ye family seemed to grieve for a long time before slowly emerging from the shadows.
