Mr. Shu spoke directly: "It's obvious that An Qi really likes you. There are only benefits to your marriage, so why don't you agree?"
Because she didn't want to get drunk and act like she didn't care about anything when she got married, which would only ruin her reputation.
I hope that after I get married, this situation will never happen again, and that no one will say such nonsense anymore.
"Which is better, you or me?" Wan Ge asked with a hint of sarcasm. She then turned to look at Mr. Shu downstairs and finally said, "I still stand by what I said: I will never marry An Qi."
"You..." Mr. Shu was so angry that he couldn't speak. He could only snort coldly and turn away.
…
For the next few days, An Qi would visit the scholar's house every day. An Qi felt at ease staying there, as if it were his own home.
He meant that being at his fiancée's house was the same as being at his house, right?
However, Wan Ge still ignored him and kept searching for A Han's whereabouts, and she had to do it secretly so that Mr. Shu wouldn't find out.
Finally, Wan Ge found the person she had been thinking about all along outside a warehouse.
Under the hazy moonlight, Ahan, carrying a box, was stunned when she saw Wan Ge standing not far away.
The gentleman said that the young lady was not allowed to leave, so why was she here in the middle of the night? It seems that she ran away from home.
"Ahan, I've finally found you." Wan Ge looked at Ahan with a wronged expression, her beautiful eyes instantly welling up with tears.
"What does Miss want with Ah Han?" Ah Han continued to silently carry the boxes.
"Ahan, I've run away. Will you take me with you?"
Ahan paused, holding the box and looking at the person in front of her. After a long silence, she finally spoke: "Would you like to come home with me, Miss?"
"Really? You're willing to take me home!" Wan Ge was overjoyed and reached out to hug A Han again, kissing him on the cheek through his mask.
Ahan was still slightly stunned, but eventually her cheeks couldn't help but turn red.
…
Wan Ge got her wish and went home with the other person, but A Han's place was very small, a very simple single room.
There's a bed, a small kitchenette, and a bathroom and toilet. The space isn't cramped, but it's definitely not big either.
“My place is very simple. If you are not comfortable with it, I can take you back.”
"No, I'll get used to it. As long as you're here, I won't go anywhere else."
Hearing Wan Ge's eager voice, A Han looked at her intently with his deep eyes, and then asked, "Does Miss like me?"
Wan Ge blushed and turned around: "Of course... otherwise... otherwise why would I..."
Wan Ge didn't finish her sentence, but A Han understood.
Ahan didn't say anything more. Wange watched as he took his clothes and went to the bathroom, while she quietly lay down on his bed.
Soon, Ahan came out of the bathroom. Her delicate and beautiful features seemed to be covered with a layer of mist because of the shower, making her look even less like a real person.
His hair was still dripping wet, and Wan Ge asked softly, "Where's the hairdryer?"
Ahan's cool voice replied again, "There's no hair dryer."
Wan Ge paused for a moment, picked up a towel from the side, and reached out to dry his hair.
Ahan lowered her head subconsciously, then realized it wasn't appropriate.
