Xingchen felt the cold touch in her hand: "How come your hands are still so cold after all these years?"
Xingchen was about to take her hand and warm it against his cheek when Wan Ge subconsciously pulled her hand away, her mind filled with the memory of how Sang Yan would always kick her hand into his arms every time it snowed.
However, that was all from his childhood. After he grew up, Wan Ge refused to have any physical contact with him, citing the difference between boys and girls, although sometimes it was unavoidable.
"Ge'er, what's wrong?" Xingchen grabbed Wan Ge's hand again.
Wan Ge shook her head, looking at the villain in front of her, but this time she didn't pull her hand back. She just felt something was off.
Xingchen pulled her into his arms and whispered in her ear, "Wange, I've been in seclusion for a hundred years. I can't wait any longer. Let's get married as soon as possible, okay?"
“Okay.” Wan Ge blurted out. She would never refuse a little villain for something like this.
Upon hearing this, Xingchen immediately smiled and said, "Then I'll have them prepare as soon as possible. I really can't wait."
After saying this, Xingchen lowered his head and wanted to kiss the person in his arms, but Wange turned around and pushed him away: "Senior brother, we are not married yet, this is not appropriate."
Wan Ge frowned, wondering why she was so averse to getting close to him. Was it because of this body?
The original owner was indeed someone who disliked interacting with people, so despite being senior and junior brothers and sisters with Xingchen for so many years and having a marriage agreement, they never did anything too intimate.
"I was being presumptuous. I just missed you so much." Xingchen lowered her head, her beautiful eyes instantly dimming.
Wan Ge opened her mouth as if to say something comforting, but in the end she said nothing.
Xingchen raised her hand, and a blue mark instantly appeared between Wange's eyebrows. It was a mark that belonged exclusively to Xingchen, and it was always used on her partner.
Wan Ge didn't resist. He was her little villain, and they were about to get married, so she shouldn't refuse.
…
It was quite late when Wan Ge returned to her palace, but Sang Yan was still sitting at the door waiting for her. When he saw her, he immediately stood up with a smile on his face: "Master, you're back."
Only when he got close to Wan Ge did he feel the mark on her body.
Wan Ge gave a soft "hmm," sounding more indifferent than usual.
Sang Yan remained silent, her fists clenched tightly. After taking a few steps, Wan Ge realized that the other woman hadn't followed, so she subconsciously turned back: "Sang Yan?"
Wan Ge gently called its name, and Sang Yan raised its head, its delicate and beautiful face filled with grievance, and tears welled up in its eyes and fell.
"What's wrong?" Wange looked at her little apprentice whom she had raised, and felt heartbroken to see him crying like this. She quickly reached out to wipe away his tears, but they just kept falling like pearls from a broken string.
"Does Master not want me anymore? Does he want to abandon me again?" Sang Yan lowered her head again, her aggrieved tone was obvious.
"That's not what I meant!" Wan Ge denied it subconsciously, and what did she mean by abandoning him again?
Sang Yan's voice was still choked with emotion as she spoke: "Actually, I know everything. Master regretted choosing me afterward..."
Wan Ge was slightly taken aback. Had she made it that obvious back then?
