The Cold and Aloof Goddess of the Green Tea Villain 8

Wan Ge obediently let the other person hold her hand. When she looked into his eyes, she hesitated for a moment before asking, "Senior brother, are we really getting married in just three days?"

"Of course," Xingchen answered without hesitation.

After hearing this, Wan Ge fell silent again.

Xingchen spoke softly, "Is there a problem? Is Wange trying to back out again?"

"No, I just haven't been able to accept it yet."

“What else can’t we accept? We are lovers, our engagement was set a long time ago, we have waited for each other for so many years, we absolutely cannot miss each other again. Wan Ge, I love you.” Xing Chen’s eyes reddened slightly.

Wan Ge touched her forehead: "I'm sorry, I misspoke."

Xingchen pulled her into his arms and lowered his head to kiss Wange, but Wange pushed him away again. "There are still three days, don't rush."

Wan Ge turned around immediately.

Xingchen clenched her fists tightly, her emotions fluctuating wildly, but she quickly masked them in the end.

Just as Wan Ge was about to change her clothes, a disciple rushed in anxiously: "Something terrible has happened, Goddess Wan Ge! Immortal Lord Sang Yan is in trouble!"

"What's wrong?" Looking at the other person's worried expression, Wan Ge suddenly had a bad feeling.

"Immortal Lord Sangyan was severely injured by the demons, and it seems he will not live much longer." In fact, they did not know what had happened. They just found Xingchen, who was seriously injured in many places. Based on the demonic energy on his body, they confirmed that he had been injured by the demons.

After a diagnosis by the celestial physician, it was definitively confirmed that the serious injury was inflicted by a demon, though the exact demon was still uncertain.

Upon hearing this, Wan Ge disregarded the fact that she hadn't changed her clothes and ran back to her temple in her wedding attire, eventually finding him in Sang Yan's bedroom.

Sang Yan lay on the couch, her face deathly pale, her deep features seemingly devoid of life. It was as if she would leave this world at any moment.

Wan Ge immediately used her internal energy to heal the injured person and drove everyone else out.

When Xingchen arrived, only the tightly closed door remained.

Xingchen simply asked the person beside her, "Given your aunt's abilities, how long do you think it will take her to heal her little apprentice this time?"

The other person shook their head: "I don't know. Junior Brother Sang Yan's injuries are too severe. Even with my aunt's abilities, it will probably take a long time. Master, your wedding will probably have to be canceled..."

"I won't cancel it, I'll just change the time. Whenever Wan Ge comes out, that's when we'll hold our wedding ceremony."

Xingchen's unease grew stronger. He felt that Sang Yan's injury was intentional, meant to make Wan Ge see him on the verge of death so that she would save him and ruin their wedding.

Xingchen's expression darkened with regret: "Sang Yan! I've given so much, made so much effort, and stayed by her side for so long. You can't compare to that. I will never let you succeed!"

Xingchen originally wanted to rush in to help heal the wounds, but suddenly realized that Wange had already cast a barrier. If she tried to break through it, both Wange and Xingchen inside would be injured.

So in the end, all we could do was wait silently.

It took Wan Ge half a month to save the person from the brink of death.

Seeing that Sang Yan was sleeping peacefully, the first thing Wan Ge thought of was to go find Xing Chen.
