Su Yi was particularly disappointed. He always felt that his master was deliberately avoiding him. Did his master not want to see him because he had done something wrong yesterday?
He didn't want to kill the demon, but the demon kept saying things that provoked him, and he couldn't help but attack it. He now knows he was wrong and will never do it again.
…
More than two months later, Wan Ge returned to the entrance of her palace and saw Su Yi squatting there, along with the Third Elder who had been standing beside her.
When Su Yi saw Wan Ge return, he immediately went to her, his eyes welling up with tears, making him look pitiful. His little ears drooped down: "Master, you're back. I know I was wrong. Please don't abandon me."
As Su Yi said this, he grabbed Wan Ge's hand and placed it next to his cheek, rubbing it pitifully like an abandoned puppy.
The Third Elder didn't know what to say. Su Yi hadn't learned anything; he had just stayed in Wan Ge's palace, not going anywhere, and had been waiting at the door for more than two months. The Third Elder had also been waiting with him for more than two months.
This amount of time is not long for the demon race, but if it's a wait, even a day would be too long.
"You may leave now," Wan Ge said to the Third Elder who had stepped forward. The Third Elder nodded and then disappeared from the entrance of her palace.
After the Third Elder left, Wan Ge touched the cheek of the person in front of her again: "Did you not listen to me properly and not study hard?"
Su Yi lowered his head, his expression clearly showing some guilt.
"I thought you didn't want to see me." Hearing what those demons said, and now that he's probably slowly realizing it, Wan Ge originally just wanted to give him some time to calm down, and also give herself some time.
It was after that incident that Wan Ge realized that perhaps it was a good thing that she didn't personally teach him. She didn't have to be kind to him herself; instead, she could let someone who had never hurt him help him.
Su Yi will eventually find out everything the original owner did. If he hadn't gotten close to him in the first place, he might have been able to let go of his inner turmoil once he realized he had killed the body.
Now things have become very awkward, and Wan Ge doesn't know whether she should contact him or not.
Wan Ge didn't want him to face his inner turmoil, but now that's no longer an option; he's bound to struggle with it.
Su Yi's beautiful eyes were filled with confusion, completely unaware of what she was saying: "How could that be? I've always only wanted to be by Master's side."
"I already told you to call me Wan Ge, you can't call me master anymore," Wan Ge said helplessly, correcting the person.
Su Yi nodded obediently once again.
Wan Ge reached out and hugged him, gently stroking his head. "Su Yi, you can do whatever you want, it's okay."
Do whatever you want. You are not a prisoner or a slave. From now on, you can do whatever you want.
Su Yi still didn't understand what the sentence meant, but he inexplicably felt disliked it and had a bad feeling about it.
"Su Yi only wants to stay by Wan Ge's side." He only wants to stay by his master's side and not go anywhere else, unless it is a place his master wants to go.
Su Yi wrapped his arms around Wan Ge, making this bold move for the first time, getting so close for the first time, as if he could even hear her heartbeat. This feeling was particularly wonderful.
