They never expected that neither Sigor nor the elf had died; they were still alive and well.
"Did you already coexist with that elf?" Back then, that elf had only fallen into a deep sleep. They originally wanted to kill that elf as well, but they couldn't. And most of their Celestial race also suffered the final blow from Sigor and basically perished.
The remaining forces, while attacking other demons, also reaped no benefits.
…
The ice sword pierced his heart directly from his back, and his remnant soul within the human body slowly began to dissipate.
"No! I don't want to die! I don't want to die!" He had planned so much just to sit in the highest position. He thought that after returning this time, he could sit in the highest position based solely on his reputation.
But now it's all shattered. He felt his soul disappearing bit by bit, and he desperately reached out to try and hold on to it.
Sigol snorted coldly; he had also regained his memories from before he woke up.
Unbeknownst to them, Wan Ge had just given birth to their child and had not yet recovered her strength when she heard that Jinling Football Club had run into trouble, so she immediately went back.
He originally wanted to accompany him, but something happened in the Demon Realm. When Wange found out, she told him that she could go on her own. Only after she repeatedly assured him that she would summon him if there were any problems did Sigor feel at ease and let her leave.
But he never expected that the despicable gods would threaten Wan Ge with the lives of the entire elven race, forbidding her from informing him of any information. So, in the end, Wan Ge did not call out to him.
Because there was no trace of death remaining, Sigol did not notice it at first.
It wasn't until they brought him to their presence and threatened him that Sigor realized Wange was already in their hands, and in the end, he had no choice but to obey and take that sword blow.
He quickly retrieved Wan Ge, realizing she was only unconscious and not dead. He added some power to her to help her recover quickly, then sent her back to the elven forest, set up a barrier, and finally succumbed to his own sleep.
He was awakened by Wan Ge, and so he reappeared in front of him.
Now that my memories have returned, I realize that those hypocritical gods actually dared to do that!
The elves had been on good terms with them for generations, but in order to cover up their crimes, they almost wiped out the entire elf race, leaving only a few weaker ones who were unaware of the truth and would not live long.
…
"What happened?" Ainas and Kaimon looked puzzled when they saw the ice shards on the ground. They had sensed the presence of the Holy Son before they arrived, but he was nowhere to be found after they got there.
Sigor simply stared at the ground, while Ainas and Kaimon also looked at the ground with puzzlement.
"This is?"
"The corpse of your holy son."
Upon hearing Sigir's cold and ruthless voice, the two instinctively took a step back, quickly checking to see if they had stepped on any ice shards on the ground.
"Huh? Wait, what happened?" Ainas was full of question marks. How could the Holy Son be ice shards? But if she sensed carefully, she could indeed detect a faint aura.
“He wanted to kill me, so I retaliated in kind.”
He stabbed me in the back then, and now I'm returning the favor. It's fair, isn't it?
"What?! Why would he do that?" Kaimon asked, looking completely bewildered.
