The Demon Princess, the Villainous God, Episode 14

Without the slightest hesitation, the fallen god answered immediately: "I am willing. I will do anything to save her."

"Okay, I'll help you."

The fallen god embraced the girl's body one last time, then looked up at Wan Ge and asked, "Will I ever see her again?"

Wan Ge replied again, "Yes, although I can't tell you exactly when, we will meet again someday, over millions of years. The day you meet will be the day you can leave the underworld."

"Okay." The fallen god's fingertips landed on the girl's face. As long as he could see her one more time, he would have no regrets.

A tear rolled down her cheek, the fallen god kissed the girl's forehead, and then turned away.

Wan Ge exchanged a glance with the Queen of the Underworld and asked her for a favor. She erased the girl's memories, repaired the girl's soul, and finally sent the girl to reincarnation.

The fallen god went alone to the River Styx.

“Nairris.” Wan Ge took his hand and gently called his name.

Nielris looked down at their tightly clasped hands and felt a surge of joy.

"I'm a little tired, can you carry me?" Repairing the soul had consumed too much of the original owner's magic power, causing this body to feel sleepy.

Nairris was naturally happy to oblige and immediately carried his lover on his back. Although he could have used magic to teleport away from the underworld, Nairris didn't want to rush. Instead, he carried his lover slowly along the River Styx, heading towards the exit of the underworld.

Wan Ge gently closed her eyes and said again, "You can start preparing for our wedding now."

Nerris stopped abruptly: "You're willing to marry me! You've agreed to marry me!!!"

At this moment, Nerris wished she could pick up Wan Ge from her back and spin her around a few times, but thinking that she was tired, Nerris had to give up.

Wan Ge gave a soft "hmm" and began to imagine just how clingy Nerris would be.

“Ange, if you were a god, you would definitely be a great god of judgment.”

"Why do you say that?" Wan Ge asked him again.

"You are kind but not blind. For a moment, I felt that you were not like a demon at all."

Wan Ge said softly, "Demons also have feelings, but their living environment and the things they encounter are different. They can also be soft-hearted and moved by certain things."

"Um."

"He kidnapped you, yet you still helped him. I never expected that." If it weren't for Wan Ge, the Fallen God would be dead by now, as would his lover.

"He was the one who destroyed the datura flower. He's dead, so be it. But now the datura flower needs someone to protect it. Rather than letting someone else do it, it's better for whoever made the mistake to make amends. Besides, it's too easy to kill him. Let him soak in the River Styx every day as his atonement."

"But you used up so much magic power to help that girl repair her soul."

Wan Ge replied, "It's just a loss of magic power; I can recover after a rest. Just think of it as not wanting to see love go unrequited."

Will they really meet again?

"Yes, if they truly love each other, they will reunite someday."

"So, do Ange and I have feelings for each other?" Nerris asked casually.

But Wan Ge had already sensed his probing, so she smiled and replied, "Of course, I will only love you in this life, until death do us part."
