The minor villain who suffered violence 15

Gu Wang's eyes were filled with confusion. Aside from the moment of the over-the-shoulder throw, he hadn't even been very steady while grabbing the other person's clothes: "Don't touch her! Wan Ge is mine..."

Although he was drunk and his balance was terrible, he still made a clear effort to hold onto his partner.

Wan Ge walked over and said softly, "It's okay, I'm here. Don't worry, I won't leave. Let go of your brother first."

With a combination of coaxing and cajoling, Gu Wang finally let go and collapsed back onto the bed.

Qi Wanlin slowly stood up and touched his shoulder. He really didn't believe that he had been drunk just a moment ago.

But after testing him again, the other party indeed showed no reaction; nothing he said or did seemed to work. This was except for matters related to Wan Ge.

Qi Wanlin even said that the Gu family had gone bankrupt, but Gu Wang still didn't react in any particular way.

But when Wan Ge was mentioned, the other person seemed to want to wake up.

The next day, Gu Wang slept late because he was drunk. When he woke up, he saw Wan Ge holding something and placing it on his bedside table.

Wan Ge reached out and gently touched his head: "Are you still feeling unwell? Have some hangover tea."

Gu Wang subconsciously obeyed, and his mind slowly cleared up. He thought about how he had been drinking with his father-in-law yesterday, and it seemed that he had only had one drink. He wondered if his father-in-law and brother-in-law would be angry.

Therefore, when Mr. Qi saw Gu Wang, he could clearly sense that Gu Wang was even more nervous than yesterday.

However, Gu Wang noticed that they didn't seem unhappy at all.

After chatting with his father-in-law, Gu Wang learned that they liked the way he passed out after drinking. They were worried that he would behave badly when drunk and bully Wan Ge.

How could I possibly bully her? Whether I was drunk or not, I would never bully her. How could I bear to bully her?

Gu Wang knew that whatever he said was useless, because taking action was the most important thing.

So he didn't explain anything; he would only let time prove that he would never hurt Wan Ge.

At noon, Gu Wang left the Qi family with Wan Ge. Gu Wang saw the reluctance of Madam Qi and Mr. Qi to part with their child.

He was very happy, very happy that Wan Ge's parents loved her very much, and very happy that she would never experience the pain he had once experienced.

This was also the first time Wan Ge had visited Gu Wang's home, as she had always stayed at the same place Gu Wang lived before.

Upon entering, one senses a lack of warmth. The building, befitting his status, feels too desolate and doesn't feel like a home, but rather a residence befitting his current identity.

Wan Ge sat on the balcony, looking out at the empty courtyard.

Gu Wang sat down beside her and hugged her tightly: "Wange, what are you thinking about?"

Wan Ge spoke softly, "I was thinking, wouldn't it look beautiful if we planted some climbing roses in the yard?"

"I'll have someone arrange it. What color does Wan Ge like?" Wan Ge smiled, then added, "There's no need to rush. When you have time, we can go to the flower market together."

If he hadn't had such an urgent job this afternoon, Gu Wang could have gone with her.

Wan Ge patted his head: "How about I go to the company with you today?"
