The Trap of a Gentle Villain (19)

Throughout the day, Shan Liang couldn't find where Gu Yan was. Even when he tried to follow Gu Yan, Gu Yan simply went home.

It seems the other party would absolutely not allow their whereabouts to be exposed.

Gu Yan had already told his parents that he would be going back tomorrow afternoon, so he only had less than 24 hours.

"Brother Ayan..." Wange hugged him as soon as she saw him return.

This man is incredibly audacious. He said he'd take her away this morning, but ended up bringing her back to the Shan family's house. This time, however, they used the back door and took a much longer route.

It has to be said that the person who knows himself best is himself. Gu Yan was very clear that Shan Liang would never discover that he had brought Wan Ge home.

Gu Yan had indeed prepared a place at first, but he still felt it wasn't safe enough, and that something might be found on Gu Yan himself.

So after thinking about it for a long time, I decided to take Wan Ge back to Shangjia. The most dangerous place is the safest place, and Shan Liang will definitely not find out.

The next day at noon, Gu Yan finished his work at the company and returned to the Shan family home. After telling his aunt, he packed his things in his room.

Meanwhile, Shan Liang, who was anxiously searching for Wan Ge, finally got the information she wanted: Gu Yan had instructed his men to find a secluded place to stay in the suburbs late the night before last.

Moreover, I saw Gu Yan's car heading in that direction very early yesterday morning, and he stayed there for several hours before going to the company.

Upon receiving this news, Shan Liang headed straight to the outskirts. When he opened the door, he saw that the house was clean but empty, indeed resembling a place intended for someone to live in, but there was no sign of anyone having ever done so.

Dan Liang seemed to realize that he had been tricked. No, he didn't have time! The only thing he could do now was to follow Gu Yan, so that there was still a slight chance of finding Wan Ge through him.

By the time Shan Liang returned home, Gu Yan had already left.

Seeing her son's anxious expression, Madam Shan gently said, "What's wrong? If you can't bear to part with Ayan, you can go and see him when you have time."

What's with that terrifying expression? It's as if Ah Yan is someone he absolutely cannot let go.

"It's nothing," Shan Liang replied in a cold voice, then went back to his room.

"Eh?" Madam Shan originally wanted to ask her son if he didn't have to go to work, but seeing his expression, she decided to let him rest.

When Shan Liang reached the door of her room, she suddenly overheard the servants talking: "Young Master Biao brought such a big suitcase, but he didn't take almost anything with him."

They cleaned the room after the young master left, and then discovered that he hadn't taken some of his clothes or anything else with him.

Hearing the maid's words, Shan Liang finally realized what was going on. Damn it! He had been looking for Wan Ge, but Wan Ge had returned to her home yesterday. He was furious!

With a "snap," the doorknob that Shan Liang had just been holding broke in two.

Just as the maid was about to speak, she saw the young master walk towards the cousin's room.

Dan Liang stood by the bed, picked up the quilt, and sniffed it. In addition to Gu Yan's fragrance, the quilt also carried the most familiar scent of Wan Ge. Wan Ge shared a bed with Gu Yan and slept at his house!

Dan Liang felt so angry she was about to vomit blood, so she kicked the headboard.
