Shan Liang was an aloof and unapproachable person who disliked crowds and was usually quiet and unsmiling. He seemed indifferent to everything and could always make extremely rational judgments.
If it weren't for the fact that her older brother treated her quite well, Shan Nian would have suspected that Shan Liang was a completely emotionless person.
He is always rational, always able to view things with extreme objectivity. It's as if the word "sympathy" doesn't exist in his world; his name is Shan Liang, but he is not kind at all.
But the person who has completely lost his mind now is nothing like the extremely rational man that Shan Nian described.
"Enough with the cold talk! Shut up!" Gu Yan's expression also turned cold.
Seeing that the other person seemed unable to persuade him anymore, Gu Yan decided to just drag him home.
However, Shan Liang saw through the other party's intentions and was not about to let them take her away so easily.
Wan Ge watched as her husbands started fighting. Between her husbands, whose side should she take?
Wan Ge finally stood between them and pulled them apart. Gu Yan's glasses fell to the ground and were crushed into pieces.
His deep eyes seemed to have a bluish tint under the light, making them look extremely beautiful.
Wan Ge seemed surprised that the usually gentle Gu Yan could be so fierce in a fight, and for a moment she was lost in thought.
"You're not allowed to look at him!" Shan Liang pulled the person into her arms and stood between Wan Ge and Gu Yan.
Wan Ge felt very strange. Apart from the inexplicable charm Gu Yan had, she couldn't take her eyes off him. It was as if just being able to look at him was a blessing.
This time, Gu Yan didn't waste any more words with Shan Liang. He raised his hand and placed it on Shan Liang's neck, knocking him unconscious.
Gu Yan took a deep breath, then exhaled slowly before asking Wan Ge, "Wan Ge, are you alright? I'll take him back now, and I'll talk to him properly."
Wan Ge nodded. She also needed to calm down and think about why she had two husbands and what she should do next.
Seeing that she seemed a little lost in thought, Gu Yan became even more worried: "Wange..."
When Wan Ge was called back to her senses, she looked up at Gu Yan and said, "Okay, Brother Gu Yan, don't worry, I'm really fine."
"I'll take him back first, and I'll come see you later. Don't worry, I'll protect you." Gu Yanquan assumed the other person was frightened.
Wan Ge nodded again, and finally watched as Gu Yan took Shan Liang away.
When Gu Yan got downstairs and saw the trash can, he really wanted to throw him in it to piss him off.
Gu Yan suppressed her temper, threw him into the back seat of the car, and then went straight back to the Shan family home.
…
Dan Nian had no idea what had happened; she only saw her cousin bring her older brother home. Just moments before, she had overheard her parents talking on the phone, saying that her brother was missing and hadn't come to work all day.
How could this be...? What happened?
Dan Nian immediately stepped forward and asked worriedly, "Cousin, what's wrong with my brother? He seems to be in bad shape."
"It's alright, he'll wake up soon." Gu Yan's tone was cold as she released her brother.
To prevent her brother from falling to the ground, Shan Nian quickly caught him. However, the unconscious man was too heavy, so Shan Nian anxiously called the housekeeper. In the end, they took him back to the bedroom together.
Dan Nian sat on the edge of the bed and sighed. What was going on? Her cousin was acting very strangely too.
