The villain is a beauty that could topple kingdoms 3

Wan Ge thought for a moment and remembered how it was written in the storybook, so she pretended to faint and leaned against his door, eventually collapsing at his doorstep.

Wan Ge didn't know when the scholar would come out, so she just lay down quietly. No one was better at playing dead than her.

The scholar appeared even earlier than she expected and quickly picked her up.

When the other person picked her up, Wan Ge seemed to catch a whiff of bamboo scent on him. Being in this bamboo forest, dressed in green robes, and now smelling of bamboo, one might really think he was the Bamboo Forest Immortal Lord!

It smells completely different from Su Yan's scent. Su Yan smells like cedar, which is aloof and cold, much like his personality.

"Girl, girl, wake up." Wan Ge heard the person beside her calling her softly, then pretended to open her eyes in confusion, and seemed to be startled when she saw him.

His mind raced, and then, as if remembering something, he thought, "Did you save me?"

A deep, pleasant voice sounded in her ear: "You can't say that. The young lady fainted at my doorstep. I was worried something might happen, so I carried her back. There was really no one else at home. I'm very sorry for the intrusion."

The scholar seemed to remember something, and immediately turned away, his face flushed.

"No offense intended, thank you so much for saving me, young master. I have no way to repay your life-saving grace, so how about I offer myself to you?" Wan Ge blinked. The scholar in front of her was so handsome and had such a good temper. She should be able to find true love like in the storybooks.

"No, no, no! Miss, you must be joking." The scholar quickly waved his hand, his face turning red to the roots of his ears.

"I'm not joking." Wan Ge slowly got off the bed and walked directly towards the scholar. Looking at the scholar before her, she softly asked, "Am I not good-looking?"

The scholar lowered his head and answered softly, "How beautiful you are, young lady."

"Then why don't you like me?"

"No...no, I don't dislike girls," the scholar quickly replied.

"Since you don't dislike me, then you must like me, right? If you like me, why can't you repay me with your body?" Wan Ge reached out and hugged him, feeling that the scholar's body had stiffened.

The scholar immediately stood up and distanced himself from her: "Perhaps the weather was too hot and the young lady fainted from heatstroke, but she is fine now. I didn't do anything, so there's no need for you to take it to heart. Besides... men and women shouldn't touch each other, young lady... young lady, please don't do such things in the future."

I've brewed some herbal tea to cool you down; please drink it later. Dinner is also laid out. It's getting late, so please stay in this room and rest. I... I'll be going now.

After saying that, the other person really left without looking back.

Wan Ge looked at herself in the mirror. She had simply changed her eyes back to the color a human should have; her stunningly beautiful features were still perfectly fine.

Why is this scholar so shy!

He was unmoved by women; he must be the male protagonist from those storybooks. Unexpectedly, she encountered a scholar straight out of a storybook.

Wan Ge was still feeling fortunate to have met a kind person as soon as she came out, but little did she know that after the scholar left, he clenched his fist and punched a pillar in the corridor.

The next morning, the scholar had just gotten up and stepped outside when he heard a noise. He went to the kitchen and saw thick smoke billowing from it, as well as a woman whose face was covered in soot.
