The villain is not a high-class beauty 17

When she looked up at him again, Qian Zhi's burning gaze seemed much calmer. He showed no disgust towards her, but it no longer held the intense affection he had felt before.

For a moment, Wan Ge even wondered if she had just seen things wrong.

Or perhaps his current calm demeanor is just an illusion, and he's been suppressing his feelings for me all along.

But Wan Ge couldn't understand why Qian Zhi was suppressing his feelings. And did he really like her that much? Although they had been married for three months, they had known each other for less than four months in total.

I first met him in a photo. I chose him at first glance from among many photos. Later, my parents invited me to our first blind date.

I remember when we first met, he seemed very cold towards me, just like the rumored aloof and unattainable beauty.

Wan Ge even felt that the other party did not want to have a business marriage with her and was not satisfied with her.

But just before it ended, he suddenly said, "I'm very satisfied with you, and I hope we can get married as soon as possible."

At the time, aside from a fleeting thought in her heart, Wan Ge genuinely thought that since he was willing to marry her anyway, what difference did it make who she married? She chose him simply because he was handsome, right? Now that he was willing, it was a good thing.

So Wan Ge replied, "Okay, I'll tell my father about this when I get back, and he'll probably discuss it with your father then."

"Hmm," Qian Zhi replied indifferently.

Wan Ge stood up abruptly, looked at the person in front of her, and said, "In that case, I'll take my leave."

"Wait a minute." Qian Zhi also stood up. "Where are you going? I'll take you."

"Go...go home..." She really only wanted to go home. If she hadn't gone out with her friends, she wouldn't have wanted to stay outside for long.

She only went out this time because of a blind date; otherwise, she would have chosen to stay at home.

“Okay, I’ll take you back,” Qian Zhi said again.

Wan Ge felt a little awkward around him at the time. Even though she liked him quite a bit, it was their first meeting, and they hadn't even waited half an hour yesterday. But in the end, Wan Ge couldn't bring herself to refuse, so she asked Qian Zhi to take her home.

That very night, Wange told her father about it, and he looked shocked.

Wan Ge thought that perhaps in his mind, Qian Zhi would never be interested in someone like her who was all looks, aloof, and nothing special.

So, faced with his shock, she didn't offer any further explanation. After finishing her sentence, she went back to her room, leaving the rest to them to decide. She simply waited for the outcome.

To be honest, not only her father was surprised, but Wan Ge was also surprised. Was this the kind of person Qian Zhi wanted? A pretty face with no substance, who only needed to be obedient at home and didn't have to do anything.

The more Wan Ge thought about it, the more she realized it made sense, so she stopped worrying about it.

In fact, what surprised Mr. Lu was not only that Qian Zhi actually agreed to the marriage, but also that Qian Zhi actually went.

To be honest, I still don't know how Qianzhi's photo ended up on the blind date list.

When his daughter made her choice, he actually approached Mr. Qian with a tentative intention. He even wondered if there had been a mistake, and he asked rather tactfully, afraid of the embarrassment of making a mistake.
