The villain is not an innocent flower 17

What are they up to? Why does something feel so off between them?

Before the banquet ended, Wan Ge led her people on a tour, and it was during this time that she encountered Bai Qingheng.

At this moment, he was still alone. Bai Qingheng stopped and looked Mo Suigui up and down.

Wan Ge sensed that Bai Qingheng's gaze was a little strange. Could it be that the male lead had feelings for the villain?

Wan Ge stood in front of Mo Suigui and said to Bai Qingheng, "President Bai, this is my younger brother, Mo Suigui."

Before Wan Ge could even introduce Bai Qingheng to Mo Suigui, Bai Qingheng spoke up: "We know each other; we've met before."

"When did this happen?" Wan Ge was stunned. Mo Suigui had been right under her nose these past few days, so when did he become involved with the male lead? How come she had no idea?

"We met abroad before," Bai Qingheng confessed without any attempt to hide anything.

Wan Ge also recalled that there was indeed a scene in the plot where the male lead encountered danger abroad, but it wasn't described in detail. So, did they have any stories abroad?

"So you're friends?" Wan Ge was actually quite uncertain when she said the word "friends," since the plot hadn't mentioned that the male lead and the villain were friends; it had only been said that they were enemies.

Bai Qingheng nodded immediately, but Mo Suigui shook her head: "No, I'm not actually familiar with him. I helped him a little when he was being bullied by bad guys, and then he followed me. I really don't know him well."

So, when the male protagonist is in danger, the villain helps him out? Then why does the villain become the villain? How can saviors turn into enemies?! How exciting!

Bai Qingheng was puzzled by the other party's eagerness to distance himself. Was he really such a shameful friend? Why was he denying it so quickly? Was he afraid that he was trying to extort money from him?

Bai Qingheng was almost starting to reflect on whether he had done something wrong, otherwise why was he so disliked by Mo Suigui?

Wan Ge smiled and then replied, "I understand. There's no need to rush to distance yourself; it would only hurt Bai Zong."

"He wouldn't." Mo Suigui muttered softly, his tone sounding like that of a long-time friend.

The more Wan Ge looked at the two of them, the more she felt that there was something wrong with the plot. At least there was a big difference between the male lead and the villain in the group. She just didn't know if the main plot had broken down or if reality was really like the plot.

On her way home, Bai Qingheng still wondered if she was really that unpopular. In the end, she sent a message to Mo Suigui, still puzzled.

Did he misunderstand and think they were friends, or did Mo Suigui have some other plans?

Mo Suigui quickly replied: "Of course, a pure and innocent girl is more pitiful because she has no relatives or friends."

Bai Qingheng then recalled how the other person kept calling her "sister," her innocent and naive appearance, and the bright, moon-like clothes she wore. So that's how it was.

He also said that Mo Suigui seemed very different today. It wasn't just his appearance and demeanor; he was different from the past, inside and out.

"Okay, I understand. Don't worry, I won't expose you." Bai Qingheng quickly replied with this message, but Mo Suigui ignored him again.
