The villain is omnipotent. (15, 16, 17, 18)

Xu Yan walked in from outside, carrying food in his hands. His handsome face, which was so strikingly handsome, seemed to have become more weathered than before.

His eyes were dark and his overall mental state was completely different from before.

"Xu Yan!" Wan Ge was stunned. She looked at the person in front of her with a strange feeling, as if she were looking at a completely different person, as if she had never known this person before.

Xu Yan placed the food on the table, picked up the bowl, and handed the spoon to Wan Ge: "Wife, you haven't eaten all day, you must be hungry."

"What do you want to do!" Wan Ge was extremely shocked, extremely angry, and even more so, she couldn't understand why Xu Yan would do such a thing.

In her memory, Xu Yan was gentle and upright, and would never do something like this, so when she saw him come in, Wan Ge's mind went blank.

"Let me out, Xu Yan. What you're doing is illegal and wrong," Wan Ge said to him seriously, but Xu Yan clearly wouldn't listen.

Xu Yan put down what he was holding and hugged her: "Wife, don't be angry. I just want to be with you so that we can continue to be together."

Wan Ge was completely shocked and looked at Xu Yan in disbelief: "Do you know what you're saying! Xu Yan, we've already broken up."

"No, you're just angry, right? I'll be good and obedient, please don't leave me." Xu Yan looked at Wan Ge pitifully, tears falling one after another from his eyes.

Having been with him for almost a year, my impression of Xu Yan is that he is calm, mature, and gentle, and he never shows his vulnerable side to her.

This was the first time he had seen Xu Yan like this, a combination of madness and vulnerability.

Seeing him like this, Wan Ge admitted that she felt a little sorry for him, but more than that, she was afraid. She had never thought that Xu Yan would have such an extreme side. The words that were about to be blurted out, Wan Ge gradually regained her rationality and suddenly became much calmer.

"Then...can you help me untie it first?" Wan Ge's gaze fell on her feet.

Xu Yan nodded, squatted down, and took out the key to unlock the shackles. But the moment the key was inserted into the lock, Xu Yan suddenly came to his senses. He immediately pulled the key out again, then stood up: "No! You'll leave."

"No, I won't." Wan Ge reached out and cupped his cheeks. "I promise you, I won't leave."

"Really?"

"Really!" Wan Ge coaxed him softly again, just like when they first got together.

Xu Yan's heart skipped a beat, but he listened to her and finally unlocked the shackles on her feet.

However, as soon as he opened it, he felt a pain in his neck and then lost consciousness.

A second before he lost consciousness, he realized he had been tricked, but it was too late to speak.

When Xu Yan woke up, he could still feel a dull pain in his neck.

Looking at the empty room, Xu Yan knew he had been deceived, and he felt utterly hopeless.

After a long time, Xu Yan finally remembered that he needed to get up. He could always tie himself up again, but this time he would definitely not be fooled so easily.

But when he moved his foot, he felt something strange on it. Looking down, he saw that the shackles were right on his foot.

Xu Yan chuckled. Was she getting revenge on him, or was she worried that she wasn't running fast enough?

Xu Yan knew very well that his specially made leg shackles wouldn't normally hurt anyone, but they were very difficult to open. Seeing this, he had no choice but to use force to remove them. There weren't many usable items in the room, so he eventually found a small knife.

When Wan Ge opened the door, she saw Xu Yan covered in blood.

His face instantly darkened: "What are you doing?"

Xu Yan dropped the knife in his hand and looked up in disbelief at Wan Ge standing at the door. She hadn't left. Joy instantly filled his heart, and Xu Yan smiled, "I knew it. You couldn't bear to leave me."

Wan Ge placed the food on the bedside table with an unfriendly expression and said, "Why are you so annoying?"

After saying that, he turned around as if he was about to leave the room. Xu Yan panicked and quickly got up, reaching out to hug him: "Don't go."

Wan Ge turned around and told the other person to sit properly on the edge of the bed: "Wait here, I'll go get your medicine."

Xu Yan stared at him longingly, holding her hand tightly without letting go.

"I'm not lying to you," Wan Ge reiterated.

Xu Yan obediently let go of her hand after hearing this. He knew that his wife wouldn't lie to him, that she wouldn't abandon him, and that she would still feel sorry for him when she saw him injured.

After he let go, Wange went straight to the first-aid kit, took the tetanus shot and some disinfectant and wound medicine and went back to her room.

Before Xu Yan woke up, Wan Ge had already surveyed the entire area.

They are now on a small island at sea, which should be a private island, with no one else around.

However, Wan Ge did not leave not because she couldn't. She had actually found a boat, and if she wanted to leave, she could have, but she didn't.

Xu Yan watched as Wan Ge treated his wounds. Wan Ge then said, "If you don't eat my food soon, it will get cold."

Xu Yan picked up the food beside him after hearing this and ate it bite by bite, but his gaze was still fixed on Wan Ge.

"Is it tasty?"

"Delicious." Xu Yan said without any hesitation.

"So delicious that you'd even eat fish bones? If you get a bone stuck in your throat later, I won't be able to pull it out for you." Giving a shot is fine, but if you really get a bone stuck, Wange doesn't have that kind of skill.
