"Hmm? Did someone just walk past us?"
Hearing someone in the group suddenly say that, everyone instinctively turned around and saw the figure turning the corner of the road.
Were they so engrossed in their conversation that they didn't even notice someone walking past them? But judging from their appearance, they're freshmen, so it shouldn't be a big problem.
Wan Ge also glanced back. They hadn't noticed Sigor at all; they had assumed he was just indifferent.
If it weren't for what they said, Wange wouldn't have noticed that it seemed like very few people paid any special attention to Sigor as they walked down the street.
Did I hide him so well? I made him practically invisible.
Sigol was so handsome that he attracted too much attention. Wange didn't want others to see her man, and she didn't want his face to hinder her trip, so she specially changed his appearance.
So in the eyes of outsiders, Sigol is a very ordinary-looking person, and even his demeanor has become that of an ordinary person.
…
“We arrived, and I told them we could find it without him.”
The person who was supposed to meet Sigor led them halfway, otherwise someone would be looking for him, seemingly to do something important. Wange thought they could take their time, so she asked Sigor to agree to let the other person leave.
"Yes, Ange is the best." Sigor held the person in his hands, his beautiful eyes filled with joy.
Before they could exchange more than a few words, a voice came from behind them: "What are you doing?"
Sigol turned around and saw a person with brown hair and brown eyes. If there were no surprises, the person was Sigol's roommate for the past three days.
They are currently staying in rooms for two, three, and four people, and Sigol was lucky enough to be assigned to a two-person room.
Of course, after the second round of assessments determines the abilities, the rooms will be reassigned, and those with strong abilities or talents may be able to get a single room.
Sigol didn't want Wange to live with him and others, so he had to get a good score in the second round of assessments.
The other person noticed that Sigor was not holding anything, as if nothing had happened, and scratched his head in confusion, wondering if he had seen wrong.
"Hello, my name is Kaimon and I will be your roommate for the next three days."
Sigol simply nodded in reply, "Sigol."
"Why does your name sound familiar?" Kaimon did have a feeling that he had heard it before, but he was certain that he did not know Sigor before, or perhaps he remembered it wrong.
Now, five hundred years have passed, and Wan Ge has lost her memory of coming to this world. Naturally, they have also forgotten that the Demon King five hundred years ago was named Sigor.
“Perhaps you’ve heard of someone with the same name as me,” Sigol replied, then tidied his bed without engaging in further conversation.
Kaimon could sense that the other party didn't want to talk to him. He didn't know why he felt a sense of familiarity with Sigor even though it was the first time he had met him, but it was a kind of familiarity that he hated. He inexplicably felt hostile towards the person in front of him.
Wan Ge, who had been observing, naturally noticed that although Kaimon and Sigor seemed to be having a normal conversation, she could tell from the first moment Sigor entered that Kaimon did not like him.
Is this the feud between the male lead and the villain? They don't even know each other yet, but they can't stand each other.
Although Kaimon didn't like Sigor in front of him, they were going to be roommates for three more days, so he didn't intend to ruin their relationship. Besides, they might never see each other again after they were separated into different classes, so there was no need for him to get too involved.
Therefore, he didn't say anything more, but simply told Sigol that there was a student code of conduct posted at the entrance, and that he should remember to check it and not violate it.
"Yes, thank you," Sigol said, expressing his gratitude.
Kaimon was taken aback, seemingly not expecting the other party to thank him, since he always had a gut feeling that people he disliked treated him very badly.
He genuinely felt that Sigol was not a polite person and would never say thank you, so the fact that the other person thanked him so naturally left him somewhat at a loss.
"No...you're welcome..."
Sigor cautiously glanced at Wan Ge, who was sitting on the edge of the bed. Wan Ge didn't seem to be paying much attention to what was going on between them. She seemed to be lost in thought, and it was unclear what she was thinking.
After Sigol made the bed, he reached out his hand, and the rules appeared in his palm.
Kaimon was reading a book when he sensed the fluctuation of spiritual energy, so he subconsciously looked at him.
The spiritual energy fluctuations were too rapid just now, and he didn't seem to sense anything. He only felt that the power seemed very pure.
The ability to retrieve objects from a distance suggests that the other person has some magical background, and they used it so casually.
Telekinesis is not some profound magic; anyone with magical abilities can do it. What he found incredible was the speed at which the other person could see him, so fast that he didn't even have time to sense the other person's power.
Sigol glanced at it and memorized everything.
If it weren't for the fact that he couldn't let Wan Ge discover his identity, he wouldn't want to abide by any of these tedious human rules.
However, in front of Wan Ge now, he is a person with a good temper, good looks, and a very gentlemanly demeanor.
He sensed that Wan Ge liked him this way; whenever he thanked someone, the other person seemed to look at him with admiration.
Sigol had no idea that Wan Ge was surprised that such a major villain was actually such a polite person.
