The Villainous God's Little Fox 16

Ever since he brought Wan Ge back to his palace, he had been sleeping in the side hall. Although they were demons and siblings, they were both adults and shouldn't be too close. He didn't need one or two more rooms, so sleeping in the side hall was fine.

Thanks to the demon core, Wan Ge recovered quickly. When she woke up again, all her injuries were healed, and she could clearly feel that the powerful demon core gave her even more power than before.

"You're all better now, little sister!" Sang Lan's mood immediately improved when she saw Wan Ge, who had recovered completely.

Wan Ge nodded: "The demon core you found for me?"

I vaguely remember hearing him say he was going to find me a demon core before I fell asleep. But where would he find such a powerful demon core?

Sang Lan scratched the back of her head and replied somewhat awkwardly, "It wasn't me. I was just looking for it for you, and Jin Ran brought it... I thought it would suit you well, but your injuries are more important, so I took it."

"Mmm," Wan Ge responded softly, her expression unreadable.

"Little sister, are you angry?"

"No, why would I be angry?" Wan Ge looked at Sang Lan beside her with amusement. Why would she be angry that Sang Lan took her husband's things?

"I accepted it without your permission."

Wan Ge patted him on the shoulder: "You can accept anything he offers."

Sang Lan was surprised for a moment, then realized that her sister had truly forgiven him from the bottom of her heart. What she said to him last time was also serious and not a joke.

Where are the others?

“I don’t know. He left after giving me the demon core. Sister…” Sang Lan hesitated for a moment, but finally spoke up: “This demon core is the one from the foot of Mount Jiwang. Although Jinran is very strong, he may not be able to gain the upper hand against such an ancient ferocious beast. I noticed that he was not in a good condition that day, and I was a little worried that he was injured.”

That's why they left their things behind and left.

That day I saw that he was covered in blood, and the bloodstains on his face had dried but he hadn't wiped them off.

Wan Ge frowned slightly. Before Ruan Ruan could even speak, a guard suddenly ran in: "Your Majesty, that celestial deity has come again."

No sooner had she finished speaking than Jinran appeared before them, her clothes spotless once more. She was carrying a wooden box, and upon seeing Wange, she immediately put it down: "Little fox, how are you feeling? Are your injuries all healed?"

Wan Ge withdrew her hand. Seeing that he seemed alright, she gave a cool, indifferent "hmm."

Jinran wasn't annoyed at all. She picked up the box again and said, "Little fox, these are some pills and top-grade immortal herbs that I refined. They will help you fuse with the demon core and heal your injuries."

"Oh." Wan Ge responded coldly again, and then turned around. The next second, Jin Ran hugged her tightly from behind.

"Little fox, please don't be so cold to me, okay?"

As soon as Jinran finished speaking, a pair of hands started pulling at him: "Hey! What are you doing! Let go, I'm still here, do you think I'm dead?"

Jinran glanced at him, then seemed to remember something, her deep eyes darkening slightly.

Sang Lan clearly felt a chill run down his spine; it seemed the other party truly intended to kill him.

Wan Ge turned around and pushed the person away, grabbing Sang Lan's sleeve: "Brother, we don't need to pay attention to him."
