Twin Villains: You're Not the Male Lead! (Pages 29, 30, 31, 32)

When Wan Ge woke up in the morning, she touched her waist. She was good-looking, had a good figure, and was very capable. Having such a husband was simply perfect.

Because he thought she wasn't feeling well, he restrained himself even though he hadn't satisfied her yet; otherwise, Wan Ge felt she might not be able to get out of bed yet.

Lord Jun and his wife treated her very well. When Wan Ge and Jun Muchen went to serve her tea, they both gave her very valuable gifts.

When Wan Ge received the gift, she was quite happy. It wasn't that the gift was expensive, but rather that she could tell from the gift and the other party's attitude that they were both quite satisfied with her and probably wouldn't make things difficult for her in the future.

When Madam Jun heard that she was in poor health, she gave her the key to the storeroom and also found her a very skilled housekeeper to assist her in managing the household.

On her first day in the household, she was given the power to manage the household. Wan Ge checked the accounts and found that she was not required to make any subsidies. Therefore, the other party was genuinely entrusting her with the power to manage the household. From now on, she would be the mistress of the house.

After Wan Ge got married, her life was quite peaceful and she had no worries. Her husband was promoted quickly because of his merit in helping the emperor rise to power.

Her parents-in-law treated her exceptionally well; she held considerable power in managing the household, and the servants treated her with utmost respect.

This kind of life wasn't much different from her life in the general's mansion or her maternal grandparents' home. Plus, there was a very handsome man who served her every day, which was a pleasure to behold.

The more Wan Ge spent time with Jun Muchen, the more she realized that he was not the person she had imagined.

She initially thought he had a disordered spirit, but after spending time with him, she didn't notice anything unusual. Could it be that she misjudged him from the beginning, and that he actually had no problems and that she had misunderstood him?

Suddenly, something seemed to come to mind: the questions her husband asked her when he was drunk on their wedding day, his answers, and the overly kind attitude of her in-laws towards her.

Wan Ge's heart suddenly skipped a beat. No way!

When Jun Muchen returned home, he was about to find his wife to get closer to him when he saw her looking at him with a cold face. For some reason, he had a very bad feeling in his heart.

Wan Ge snorted coldly at him and then said, "Don't you have anything to explain to me? I'll only give you one chance."

Just as Wan Ge finished speaking, she heard a thud and saw her handsome, carefree husband, who looked like a god descended from heaven, kneeling down in front of her.

Then, looking at her pitifully, his fingertips gently gripping her sleeve, his voice filled with such brokenness that Wan Ge almost couldn't bear it: "I didn't mean to lie to Madam. I just like Madam so much. Besides, my brother and I look exactly alike. I can do everything my brother can do. Will you like me?"

Seeing the other person like this, Wan Ge felt her heart beating even faster. So that's how it is. When she thought she was attracted to his other personality, it was actually her who was attracted to him. They were not the same person at all.

She thought she only liked one aspect of his personality, but it turns out she had always liked him, and there was no other aspect to him.

"And what about your brother?" If there are no surprises, the pen pal he was corresponding with was his brother.

Jun Muchen stood up instantly and hugged him tightly: "Don't think about him, okay?"

Wan Ge patted his head helplessly: "I didn't miss him, I just wanted to ask you, what's going on between you two? Why are you the only one here? Where did your brother go?"

Jun Muchen, I spoke softly: "Brother likes Princess Qingyang, so he went to her side."

Wan Ge suddenly remembered the man beside Princess Qingyang that she saw on her wedding day. No wonder his figure looked so much like her husband. If there were no surprises, that was her fiancé.

"Your brother likes Qingyang, but because of your status as a twin, he didn't dare to like Qingyang before, right?" Given the late emperor's personality, it was indeed easy for problems to arise.

"Mm." Jun Muchen nodded. "Brother likes Qingyang and only sees you as a friend, but I like you, I love you, so please stop liking brother."

Even though his brother had said that his relationship with Wan Ge wasn't what he imagined, Jun Muchen still subconsciously felt that Wan Ge liked his brother. Otherwise, why would she get engaged to his brother, and why would she be willing to marry him, who was his brother's identity?

Even though he had hoped that Wan Ge might have always liked him, he felt that many pieces of evidence couldn't convince him.

"Fool, I don't like your brother. I've only ever loved you."

"Really?" Jun Muchen still couldn't believe it.

"Why would I lie to you?" Wan Ge tiptoed and kissed him on the lips. Jun Muchen seemed to be encouraged by something, and cupped her face and kissed her passionately.

Qingyang originally wanted to marry Jun Yuchen, but the date they chose was the day of the Emperor and Empress's wedding, so they had to postpone it again.

After stabilizing the court as agreed, Xiao He proposed to marry Deng Wanning.

The marriage proposal followed the usual steps of a typical family seeking a spouse.

When everyone heard the news, they were all envious.

It was clearly just a matter of an imperial edict, yet the emperor acted like an ordinary citizen, personally going to the emperor's door to ask for the hand of his beloved.

Many noble ladies had mixed feelings when they heard the news, especially those who had bullied Deng Wanning. They had mocked her father for his low status, but now her father had become the emperor's father-in-law, and she had become the empress.

And their self-important noble ladies are now nothing more than a joke.
