Wanting to break up a couple, but ending up as a love-struck villain (9)

Wan Ge glanced at him, then thought of Shen Ji, the young master of the Shen family, who never lifted a finger to do housework: "Then help me bring the dishes to the table."

"Okay." After answering silently, she picked up the soup that was placed to the side.

Wan Ge immediately grabbed a clean towel from the side and took the soup pot away.

Chen Ji's gaze fell on his hand, which instantly turned red from the heat. Wan Ge reacted exceptionally quickly; the moment Chen Ji touched it, Wan Ge immediately took it away. Otherwise, the soup pot would have definitely fallen to the ground, potentially causing further injury.

It's normal for a young master who is always waited on hand and foot to never have touched a freshly cooked soup pot.

But...Wange held his hand and saw that his hand was already slightly blistered.

We immediately took him to get treatment and applied some medicine powder. It wasn't too serious yet; if he had left it on any longer, it would not only have been painful but also difficult to heal.

"Does it still hurt a lot?" Chen Ji had never suffered like this before.

He shook his head and didn't say anything.

His entire gaze had been fixed on Wan Ge, and he had long forgotten the pain. He saw her nervousness and her concern.

Chen Ji couldn't help but curl his lips into a smile; it seemed that Wan Ge still had some feelings for him.

Chen Ji burned his hand, so Wange fed him.

In the end, Chen Ji said he wanted to stay at her house. Although it wasn't Wange who injured him, as his girlfriend, she needed to take care of him.

Wan Ge knew exactly what the other party was planning, but she still agreed to Chen Ji's request.

Half an hour later, the housekeeper arrived with several servants, carrying some clean clothes and blankets.

The housekeeper said that Shenji had sensitive skin when she was a child and had certain requirements for clothes and blankets, otherwise she would easily get rashes.

Regardless of whether things improved as she grew up, she always used special materials for her blankets and clothes to avoid any accidents, so the housekeeper still brought out the blankets.

The comforter was brand new, but made of the same material. The smooth, soft fabric felt very comfortable to the touch, and surprisingly, it even felt slightly warm in winter. Of course, it didn't matter if the fabric felt cool to the touch, since there was heating.

The butler also noticed that Chen Ji's hand was bandaged. Although he didn't know what was wrong, he still asked if they should call a doctor.

Chen Ji replied that it was no need, and the housekeeper left Wan Ge's house after tidying up.

That evening, Chen Ji went to Wan Ge's bedroom. The computer screen in the bedroom was still lit.

Chen Ji glanced at the contents and understood them completely. He hadn't expected that Wange was making some investments.

But where is she?

Just then, a voice was heard from the bathroom: "Are you quiet? I'm taking a shower, wait a moment."

Silently, he sat down in the chair and waited quietly for the other person to come out.

About five minutes later, Wan Ge came out of the bathroom. She was wearing a bathrobe, walked past him, and went to the drawer to take out a hairdryer.

The hairdryers they were using were completely silent, so chatting was no problem at all: "What's wrong?"

"I want to take a shower too, but you said my hands can't get wet."

"Oh?" Wan Ge raised an eyebrow and glanced at the other person. So, he meant for her to help him?

After thinking it over carefully, he realized that she was his girlfriend, so it was the most appropriate thing for her to help him. Was that okay?
