But now, instead of strengthening his own power, he is researching all kinds of robots, tools, and weapons, which benefits people throughout the entire intergalactic world!
Thinking about this, I felt that Wan Ge was so great. She was a princess, yet she had always taken care of everyone in the entire intergalactic world.
…
The Queen then asked softly, "I heard that there was an explosion in your previous laboratory a few days ago."
"Mm." Wan Ge nodded.
The Queen's face instantly showed concern: "Are you injured?"
Wan Ge replied, "It's nothing, a minor injury would have healed long ago."
"Has there been any results regarding why the laboratory exploded?" the Queen continued to ask.
Wan Ge shook her head: "It seems to be intentional, and we are still investigating."
After hearing this, the Queen continued, "Could it be that the robots in your laboratory had some inappropriate thoughts and thus deliberately orchestrated this explosion?"
Wan Ge shook her head firmly: "No, the robots in my lab are under very strict control every day, there will absolutely be no accidents."
After the Queen said "Oh," she asked softly, "Would you like me to send a few people to protect you? I'm very worried about your safety after something like this happened."
Wan Ge shook her head again, her gaze falling on the stunningly beautiful robot not far away: "No need, she will protect me."
The Queen glanced at it, not caring whether it was in her presence or not, since she genuinely disliked robots: "I know the robots you've developed are incredibly powerful, but a machine is always just a machine. Once it develops self-awareness, it becomes a heartless killing machine. I'm worried you might really be in danger."
Wan Ge smiled and said, "Putting aside the fact that I hold their lives in my hands, even if they have such thoughts, don't forget that I also have very strong superpowers."
After she said that, the Queen paused noticeably, then gave an awkward laugh: "Oh right, your superpowers are very strong. I was just being too worried."
Wan Ge simply looked at her quietly without saying anything more. Soon the Queen changed the subject again: "By the way, your mother misses you very much. Do you want to go see her? Your parents only have the two of us children. Now that your father has passed away, and I'm busy with important matters, your mother is very lonely."
"Okay." After answering, Wan Ge went with her to find her mother.
But when they saw the middle-aged man, who looked to be over a hundred years old, he was lying quietly in the arms of an extremely handsome robot, eating grapes that the robot was feeding him.
The handsome robot's appearance was modeled after their father when he was young, which is also a way for their mother to express her longing for her father.
However, the Queen was not very satisfied with this, because she did not want her mother to dwell on the past.
But her mother said that she was over a hundred years old and didn't care about passing by; she just missed her husband a little.
The Queen couldn't do anything about the old lady, so in the end she could only watch her do what she wanted.
Seemingly after hearing the noise, the other person finally turned their gaze to them. Upon seeing Wan Ge, their eyes lit up with surprise: "Oh, baby, you're back! How have you been? You look thinner!"
“I’m doing very well lately, so Mother doesn’t need to worry.”
The old lady hugged her tightly and said, "I missed you so much."
The news of the laboratory explosion was kept under wraps, so it didn't spread. Apart from the people in the laboratory, only a few people with special identities knew about it.
To avoid worrying her mother, the Queen did not tell her what had happened to her sister, so the old lady was unaware that her laboratory had exploded.
The old lady was happy, though she hadn't seen her daughter in a long time.
They had a daughter late in life, and she possessed extraordinary abilities, so they doted on her very much.
…
Wan Ge had a meal with the old lady, and just as she was about to leave with her robot, she decided to inform the Queen first.
Standing outside the Queen's bedchamber, I heard the sound of things being smashed inside: "She's showing off her superpowers to me again! Didn't she say her superpowers were long gone? Is that damn bastard lying to me? I knew it! How could she possibly have escaped death? Sure enough! Sure enough, her superpowers haven't disappeared."
Wan Ge paused, but did not go in.
Then she found someone to convey to the Queen that she had left.
On her way home, Wange gently leaned against the robot beside her: "1720, do you have a name?"
The robot quickly replied, "Master, 1720 is my name."
Wan Ge shook her head: "1720 is just your number. Do you have a name you like?"
1720 seemed to ponder for a moment, perhaps searching the database for how to answer: "Does Master want me to name myself?"
"Yes, you can choose a name you like."
"Then Master, please call me Xiao Xu."
"Little Xu? Which Xu?"
"The order of order."
Wan Ge smiled slightly: "Hmm, that's a nice name."
Then Wan Ge reached out and touched her eyebrows and eyes, looking at the robot in front of her, and asked softly, "You will never betray me, right, Xiao Xu?"
"Yes, I will never betray you," Xiao Xu replied obediently.
After taking a deep breath, Wan Ge sighed helplessly, "Xiao Xu, sometimes life is really tiring."
