What he wants is freedom and respect.

Xiao Shuyu leaned against him; it felt like it had been a very, very long time since they had sat like this. And it had also been a long time since they had a proper conversation.

Ever since his family found out about his situation, he has been in a state of constant anxiety, thinking about how to resolve it every day, but he can't show it and make them worry.

After his family arranged a marriage for him, which could no longer be hidden, the two were even less able to have a proper conversation.

"Cangyue, I don't want to be separated from you, never." He didn't want to be separated from him either, but he also noticed Yan Cangyue's state.

If Yan Cangyue really wanted to break up with him, there was nothing he could do to stop him.

"I just... don't know what to do."

"Give me another chance, give me some time, okay?" Xiao Shuyu wasn't sure if he could do it well, but he would do his best. Even if Yan Cangyue still chose to separate in the end, at least... at least he had tried.

"Okay." Yan Cangyue reached out and patted his head, just like he would do when they first became closer.

Wan Ge had only intended to get up and have a glass of water when she suddenly caught a glimpse of the sunrise outside the window and walked over to it. By the time the sunlight streamed into the room, Wan Ge was no longer sleepy.

Ruan Ruan stared at the dazed Wan Ge for a while before finally asking, "My lord, do you have a plan?"

"No." To be honest, this is the first time Wan Ge has met you, a story featuring two male leads.

In the worlds I've experienced before, although there have been people I liked who were the same gender as me, some of these were fantasy worlds where tolerance was higher and almost no one objected. Or, in more futuristic times, the general public has a wider range of acceptance and is more supportive of free love, so there aren't many problems either.

Alternatively, if the family members are open-minded, even if there are strange looks from outsiders, they can still get the consent and understanding of their family members.

Of course, besides the male lead's problem, there's also his own little villain. The little villain is also very strictly controlled, and I suppose his mother will find out soon enough that I've gotten close to him.

Wan Ge went to wash up and change her clothes before heading out. But she wasn't going to work today; she was going home, back to the old house, where her grandfather wanted to see her.

They lived not too far away; it only took half an hour for Wan Ge to arrive. Just as they got off the bus and were about to go inside, they suddenly heard the sound of a violin.

As Wan Ge listened to the unfamiliar yet familiar music, she walked over and saw a young boy playing the violin in the garden next door.

Wan Ge only saw his profile and couldn't make out his face, but the familiar markings confirmed that he was her little villain.

The other person seemed to sense it as well, stopping what they were doing, putting down the zither, and turning to look at her.

Before the two could even exchange a word, a middle-aged man approached Wan Ge and said, "Miss, Grandpa is waiting for you."

"I understand," Wan Ge replied before heading towards her door.

"Xiao En, what's wrong?" The old man in front of Chu Mu'en looked at his grandson with a puzzled expression.

"It's nothing, Grandpa. I just saw someone who looks familiar."

Hearing what his grandson said, the old man looked outside, but in the end he only saw Wan Ge's back as she entered the room.
