Your Highness, I will accompany you wherever you go. (19, 20, 21, 22)

"Help me change, I'll go check on things." Wan Ge immediately got out of bed.

Seeing her reaction, the nanny didn't dare to delay and quickly dressed her.

Just as Wan Ge reached the door, she heard a voice from inside: "Your Majesty, would you like me to find you a young lady?"

The Empress is currently pregnant and unable to assist His Majesty. The imperial physicians are also helpless with this medicine, and they truly do not know what to do.

"Get out!" Nan Su replied in a suppressed yet angry voice, "Get out of here, all of you."

The others subconsciously glanced at the shadow guard beside them, who nodded. The chief eunuch had no choice but to lead the rest of the group out the door.

He had just stepped out the door when he encountered Wan Ge. The chief eunuch felt somewhat guilty, but faced with the Emperor's life or death, he had only done what he was supposed to do.

Wan Ge understood what the other party was thinking, so she didn't blame them: "You don't need to follow me, I can go in by myself."

After Wange turned around and spoke to the nanny and maid behind her, she saw the nanny's worried face. She gently patted the nanny's hand and said, "Don't worry, nanny."

How could the nanny not worry? But she couldn't stop the lady from doing what she was going to do. She opened her mouth, but in the end, she could only let her face it alone.

When Wan Ge entered the Imperial Study, she saw Nan Su with disheveled hair and a face full of suppressed pain. Although his black clothes covered the bleeding on his leg, his hands, which were pressed against his leg, were covered in blood.

Hearing the commotion, Nan Su angrily shouted, "Didn't I tell you all to get out?"

"A-Su," Wan Ge called softly.

Upon hearing the familiar voice, Nan Su froze.

Wan Ge walked to his side. Nan Su wanted to push her away, but worried about hurting her, so he clenched his fists tightly, trying to suppress his urge to speak, "Sister, why are you here? Get out..."

Wan Ge looked at the wine jug placed to the side, opened a jar of wine, poured the sake into the jug, and put in the medicine she had exchanged from the system.

Wan Ge poured a glass of wine and held it to his lips: "A-Su, do you remember? You would fall asleep as soon as you drank. Drink up, and you'll be fine after you finish."

Nan Su's mind was already hazy, but upon hearing what she said, he vaguely remembered that there seemed to be such a thing, so he obediently drank the wine she offered.

Sure enough, as his head grew increasingly foggy, his eyelids gently closed, though a look of pain still lingered on his face.

Wan Ge gently touched his face with her fingertips, smoothed his hair, and then tore open his robe to reveal the wound on his leg.

He must have stabbed himself when things got out of control.

Seeing the blood-soaked scene, Wan Ge's eyes were filled with heartache.

After disinfecting his wound, Wange sprinkled the medicine powder on it and then bandaged it up.

Finally, they carried him to the bed next to them so he could rest.

As the system's medicine took effect, the person who had been in pain showed some relief.

The next morning, Nan Su woke up, still feeling a bit dizzy, but she slowly began to recall what had happened the day before.

The thought that the last person he saw was Wan Ge instantly brought Nan Su to his senses. He instinctively looked for Wan Ge and then saw her sleeping on the chaise longue.

Although there is a small bed in the Imperial Study, it is not very big because it is only provided for Nan Su to rest. Yesterday, Wan Ge took into account that he was injured and she was pregnant, so she did not share a bed with him.

However, since Wan Ge used to come over often, Nan Su arranged a chaise lounge for her, and she never expected to use it now.

Looking at the other person's peaceful sleeping face, Nan Su gradually recalled the hazy moments from last night. He vaguely remembered that the other person seemed to have coaxed him to drink alcohol, and after drinking, he was completely unconscious. So, was it really because he drank alcohol and passed out that he managed to stay awake?

Wan Ge seemed to sense the movement, so she opened her eyes and saw a familiar handsome face.

Wan Ge reached out and touched his face: "You're awake? Is there anything else that's bothering you?"

Nan Su shook her head, carefully helping the other person up, then thought of what happened last night: "Why did you come here? Do you know how dangerous it was? What if I had really hurt you?"

"I trust you won't hurt me, and besides, what would you have done if I hadn't come?"

Nan Su lowered her head slightly. What the other party said was true. Even the imperial physicians were helpless, but unexpectedly, everything was fine after Wan Ge arrived.

"Your condition is still not stable. Let the imperial physician take another look."

"Alright." Nan Su nodded, then opened the door and had someone summon the imperial physician.

The palace maids, eunuchs, imperial physicians, and others all breathed a sigh of relief when they saw that Nan Su was alright, because they knew that if something had happened to Nan Su, they would all have been killed along with him.

Because the imperial physician had been waiting outside, he quickly entered the imperial study to take Nan Su's pulse.

She was somewhat surprised to find that the effects of the drug had completely worn off: "His Majesty's effects of the drug have completely worn off, but... Her Majesty?"

"What's wrong with me?" Wan Ge looked at the imperial physician in confusion.

When Imperial Physician Chu discovered that Wan Ge was also perfectly healthy, he was finally completely relieved. Whether it was the Emperor or the Empress who had a problem, they would both die.

"It's good that Your Highness is alright. His Majesty's medicine has worn off, so it should have no effect."

He didn't ask in detail, nor did he dare to. He just wanted His Majesty and the Empress to be healthy.

Nan Su wasn't sure if he had hurt Wan Ge last night, so he had the imperial physician take Wan Ge's pulse. Only after confirming that she was alright did Nan Su truly feel relieved.
