Aladdin's Lamp



The teacher came in and looked at the pine tree in the corner, surrounded by powder. She felt sorry for it, but pretended not to see it.

After class, some students came over with brooms and asked Xiantong to clean up the flour in front of the door.

He accepted it without saying a word.

Silently sweeping the floor

Xiao Ai arrived at that moment.

"Hey, Xiantong, come here."

He didn't respond and continued sweeping the floor, the most flour being under his table.

"Go and call him here," Xiao Ai said, pushing the boy in front of her with her hands clasped together, clearly annoyed.

The boy went straight over, looked at Xian Tong who was a head shorter than him, grabbed his thick hair, and dragged him directly in front of Xiao Ai.

A flicker of fear crossed Xian Tong's eyes, which were hidden by her stray hairs.

"What's wrong?" Xiao Ai bent down and looked at him as he was awkwardly forced to kneel down by his male classmate. She then patted his dirty face.

"I called you, are you deaf? Don't you have ears?"

Xiao Ai kicked Xian Tong in the shoulder, chewing her gum and giving a wink to the person behind her.

"Take it with you"

Following Xiao Ai, they saw Xian Tong lead them into the woods.

The old building came into view.

"Today, we're going to watch you go in."

Xiao Ai stood next to the girl who had been with her that day, smiling as she was pushed inside by someone.

"Bang"

Exactly the same as that day

Xian Tong was pushed inside, and the rusty iron gate, battered by the wind and rain, collapsed.

This time they came openly and honestly.

"Go inside, and if you see a golden lamp, take it out; otherwise, your dog might never see it again."
