He is a gentle breeze

Zi Qingyan's body remained stiff. Dou Shiliu patted his back slowly and gently, saying softly, "Relax..."

As Zi Qingyan gradually relaxed, Dou Shiliu breathed a sigh of relief.

Seeing him obediently lie down, Dou Shiliu straightened the blanket for him and gently blew on his bruised and swollen hand.

"Dean, please come in for a moment."

The door opened, and the dean walked in and saw it immediately, frowning slightly: "Help him switch arms for the IV drip."

The nurse quickly fixed him up again.

Holding Zi Qingyan's hand, Dou Shiliu could clearly feel his trembling, and patted him comfortingly.

After everything was ready, Dou Shiliu saw the porridge on the table, picked it up and handed it to him: "Are you hungry? Eat up."

Zi Qingyan slightly raised his head and shook it; he wasn't hungry.

However, Dou Shiliu slowly pulled up a chair, sat down, took the bowl, and fed him.

"Eat, you haven't eaten in a long time, your stomach will feel uncomfortable."

He paused, startled, and then opened his mouth to eat.

A gentle light flashed in Dou Shiliu's eyes; her cannon fodder boss was indeed very obedient...

After finishing his porridge with quiet words and slow, deliberate chewing, Dou Shiliu smiled contentedly and placed the bowl on the table.

Seeing how gentle Dou Shiliu was, He Zicheng felt that his guess was correct.

Suddenly realizing I had nothing more to do there, I said, "I'm leaving."

Dou Shiliu nodded.

Before leaving, He Zicheng gave Zuo Huiye's number and bought her a new phone nearby.

Dou Shiliu, on the other hand, kept a close eye on Zi Qingyan.

Seeing that he had fallen asleep, she straightened the blanket, turned around and called her mother, telling her that she was staying at a friend's house. Lin Shu was too busy to ask in detail, and told her to be careful before hanging up.

Tonight, Dou Shiliu stayed by his side. Apart from crying in bed for a while, Zi Qingyan didn't say another word.

Dou Shiliu didn't force him to speak, after all, his brain might not have recovered yet.

She will stay by his side now, so that she can be the first to hear him when he wants to speak.

Over the next few days, Zi Qingyan's injuries gradually healed, and the gauze on his head could be removed in another day.

Dou Shiliu carried a small bag and a bag of nutritious porridge she had bought, heading towards the ward.

The door opened, and the bed was empty.

Dou Shiliu glanced at the balcony, which was also empty.

He frowned, put down the porridge, and turned to walk towards the door.

They found the monitoring room, and finally found him in the hospital garden.

The sun was a bit scorching today, and the breeze carried a hint of heat.

She spoke softly, tilting her head slightly as she sat in a chair basking in the sun.

Dou Shiliu frowned and stepped forward to grab his shoulder.

"Your injury can't be exposed to sunlight. Come back to the ward with me."

Zi Qingyan stared blankly at her small hand holding his, wanting to break free, but seeing her furrowed brows, he didn't say a word.

Dou Shiliu led him into the ward and said, "Sit down and eat."

Zi Qingyan silently picked up the porridge and began to drink it.

Dou Shiliu divided the pills, poured him a glass of water, and placed it on the table: "Remember to take your medicine after you finish your porridge."

Zi Qingyan slowed down his Sudoku practice with Zhou, clearly indicating that he didn't want to take his medicine.

Dou Shiliu understood his intention. She watched him slowly as he ate, taking small bites. She didn't mind; she had plenty of time to watch him take his medicine.

She ate slowly for a full half hour, but no matter how slowly Zi Qingyan ate, there was only one small bowl of porridge, and she still had to put it down eventually.

Seeing that he had put down the bowl, Dou Shiliu got up, put the medicine in his palm, picked up the water and walked towards him.

"Taking medicine"

Zi Qingyan thought Dou Shiliu would lose patience and leave soon, but she didn't expect him to finish the porridge. She then calmly reminded him to take his medicine.

Silently accepting the pill, he swallowed it down, finding it difficult to swallow.

"Would you like to read a book?"

She had just finished eating and couldn't go straight to sleep. Dou Shiliu rummaged through her bag, which contained the extracurricular books she had specially brought, in case he was bored at the hospital.

Zi Qingyan stared at her, pursed his thin lips, and nodded.

Dou Shiliu slowly handed him the book, then suddenly pulled it back just as Dou was about to take it.

Zi Qingyan was taken aback for a moment, then pulled the blanket up. Since she couldn't see the book anymore, she might as well go to sleep.

A hint of helplessness flashed in Dou Shiliu's eyes. She thought he would look at her with suspicion, but he lay down on the bed without even looking at her.

"Hey... I was just teasing you, here's a book..."

The person on the bed was motionless, as if they were asleep.

"Zi Qingyan, you just finished eating, you can't lie down right away, you need to digest."

Dou Shiliu stepped forward and poked his wrapped body.

"Are you angry?" Dou Shiliu lowered his head, his forehead buried under his bandaged head.

As she squatted down, Zi Qingyan's eyelashes fluttered slightly, betraying his inner nervousness.

Dou Shiliu gently brushed her fingers across his long, dark eyelashes, then suddenly opened her eyes, and their eyes met.

"Get up and read a book, okay?" Dou Shiliu smiled, her eyes filled with tenderness.

Zi Qingyan stared blankly at her, her throat bobbing slightly: "Okay."

That was the first thing he said.

Dou Shiliu was also taken aback for a moment, then realized what he meant and said, "I'll go get you the book."

She just casually put it on the table.

Zi Qingyan got up, and Dou Shiliu came over and put a pillow behind his back so that he could lean back more comfortably.

Zi Qingyan looked at the girl, her eyes revealing a mystery.

He handed him the book, and Dou Shiliu sat down beside him, resting his chin on his hand, watching him silently read.

Neither of them spoke. Zi Qingyan was engrossed in her book, while Dou Shiliu simply wanted to look at Zi Qingyan.
