"I had a fever at 3 pm today, and my cough got worse."
With worry flashing in his eyes, Yu Tongchen strode towards the main house, pushed the door open, and closed it behind him.
"Master, you're back!" Ziling's voice was filled with joy.
Bai Tong was also delighted, as if he had seen a savior, "Divine Doctor Yu, you're back!"
Yu Tongchen walked to Shu Shiyu's bedside, felt her pulse, touched her forehead, and asked, "Cold air has entered your body, what's going on?"

Shu Shiyu opened his mouth obediently.
Seeing her like this, his eyes were filled with pity, "I brought you a gift that General Ling prepared for you. I will bring it back to you tomorrow."
She nodded slightly.
"Is dinner ready?"
"The young lady has a poor appetite, so it's useless." Bai Tong replied.

He pulled out the needle, "How does it feel?"
"I feel dizzy and want to vomit." Shu Shiyu's voice was hoarse and weak.

The body is still too weak.
Shu Shiyu was dizzy and saw the dark circles under his eyes under the candlelight. "Go and rest."
"Close your eyes and take a nap for a while. I'll go after your fever subsides."
Shu Shiyu found it difficult to speak, so he stopped trying to persuade her and just closed his eyes as he asked.
After a while, she fell into a deep sleep, coughing from time to time in her sleep, the sound was soft and weak.

The door was closed and they were the only two in the room.
Yu Tongchen reached out and held her cold hand, rubbed it, and when her hand was warm, he switched to the other hand.
Half an hour later, she woke up once and whispered for water. Yu Tongchen helped her up and stuffed a soft pillow behind her.
"I can do it myself." Shu Shiyu said when he saw that he was about to feed himself again.
Yu Tongchen handed the spoon to her lips, looked into her clear eyes, and said seriously, "Your hands should not be able to exert much strength, so don't spill it."
"Open your mouth."
Shu Shiyu hesitated for a while, then followed his lead.
After drinking half a bowl of water, Shu Shiyu shook his head.
"Thanks."
"Thank you for what?" he asked softly.
"Thank you."
"I'm happy with it, no need to thank me." Yu Tongchen touched her head.
Shu Shi and his eyes were filled with surprise.
