"Well, go find Da Hu from Shanxi and he will arrange for you."
"Thank you, my king!" The cat demon limped out.
After staying in Yingshan for a month, Jiang Yubai saw that except for the two days she went into the city, she spent the rest of the time climbing trees to pick fruits and fishing in the water with the little demons. She had a lot of fun every day and only came back when the sun was setting.
After dinner, Jiang Yubai held her in the courtyard and watched the moon. "My dear, you almost forgot about me while having fun."
"How could I?" Hua Qingran held his face and kissed him, "Don't I accompany you every night?"
He would hold her down and kiss her every night. He would get easily excited when he kissed her, then feel so uncomfortable that he would turn back into his original form and run away. When she fell asleep, he would run back and hug her to sleep.
Jiang Yubai grabbed her retreating head, leaned close to her, and kissed her.
After kissing her until she softened, Jiang Yubai's breath was hot, and he said to her cheek, "My dear, we'll go back to Liuchun City tomorrow."
Their wedding is in ten days, so it’s time to start preparing.
Hua Qingran nestled in his somewhat warm arms, breathing disorderedly, "Oh."
After she recovered, she poked his chest and asked, "Why do you kiss me so hard every time?"
"I can't help it." Jiang Yubai rubbed her cheek and touched the corners of her slightly wet eyes. "Does it hurt? I'll be gentler next time."
Hua Qingran pulled the purse on his waist and played with it, "It doesn't hurt, you kissed him for too long."
As if he was going to kiss her to death.
"Then I'll kiss you somewhere else next time." He placed his lips lightly behind her ear.
Hua Qingran covered her ears and glared at him, "Don't even think about it."
Jiang Yubai curled his lips and kissed her until she was confused. She agreed to everything he said, but when she was sober, she would not allow this or that.
"What are you thinking?" She pinched his face warily.
"It's unfair." Jiang Yubai grabbed her hand and held it in his palm, "I'm not a bad demon."
"The hot spring in the backyard has been built for several days, and the smell is almost gone. Go and try it, baby." He picked her up.
After entering the hot spring room, Jiang Yubai put her down and said, "Go take a shower."
Four huge luminous pearls were suspended around the hot spring pool, and the light they emitted was entangled with the rising water mist, creating an ambiguous atmosphere.
"Jiang Yubai." Hua Qingran called him.
Jiang Yubai let go of her waist and put his arm around her again, resting his forehead against hers, and said slowly, "Why, dear, do you want me to take a shower with you?"
Hua Qingran pinched his waist and said, "You wish."
The other hand stuffed something in his hand and pushed him away, "Get out."
The touch in his hand was warm, Jiang Yubai touched her head, and turned to leave.
Looking down, he saw that it was a jade pendant with the pattern of his body.
Jiang Yubai rubbed the jade in his hand with his fingertips. It turned out that she had kicked him out of the study that day because she was drawing a pattern.
After transforming into his original form and swimming in the river, Jiang Yubai came back and leaned against the door, listening to the slight sound of water inside and waiting for her to come out.
She came out in her pajamas with her long hair half wet. Jiang Yubai put his arms around her soft waist and carried her back to the room.
The night pearl emitted a bright and warm light. Jiang Yubai also lit a candle and dried her hair with a towel.
"Give me back the jade pendant I just gave you." Hua Qingran lay on the bed with her legs crossed and stretched out her hand.
Jiang Yubai placed the jade pendant in her palm.
The candle flame suddenly made a crackling sound, the flame flickered for a moment and then continued to burn.
He took a look and said, "The lights are popping, and good things are coming."
Hua Qingran took out the tassel she had woven from under her pillow and tied it to the jade pendant. "Then what's the happy event?"
He is more human than human.
"Happy wedding."
She turned over and sat up, tying the jade pendant around his waist, "I know you're looking forward to it."
Jiang Yubai put down the handkerchief and held her wrist, "Aren't you looking forward to it, dear?"
Hua Qingran raised her other hand to take off his hair crown and kissed the corner of his lips, "Look forward to it."
But I'm not really looking forward to it, well, I'm a little nervous.
After all, she had touched it with her claws, it was so...
The next morning, Hua Qingran was about to go on a long journey again. He woke up early and tossed and turned in the quilt.
Jiang Yubai held her waist, sat up and hugged her.
"Can't sleep?"
"Well, let's go back to Liuchun City."
