Chi Nanjin placed his palm on her head and pressed her head onto his shoulder, "Lean on it."
She leaned on his shoulder, took out her cell phone and started watching the movie she hadn't finished watching yesterday afternoon.
Chi Nanjin glanced at her sideways, a smile on his lips.
It was half past six and there was still some distance to the top of the mountain. Liu Guixue glanced at the sign next to him and let out a long breath.
"I'm a little tired."
Chi Nanjin took her hand and asked, "Does the little flower fairy also feel tired?"
"Of course I will. Aren't you tired after walking for so long?"
"Some, but we're almost there. We can rest after we get up there. The sun is about to set." He stood on a step higher than her, leaned over and tucked her hair behind her ears, "Do you need me to carry you?"
"No need, you're tired too. Just hold my hand. I can climb up by myself." She narrowed her eyes and held his hand back.
Chi Nanjin looked at the seriousness in her eyes, then turned around and said, "Well, our Axue is very determined."
"I've carried you before, it's very light, there's no problem carrying you up there."
"You mean the last time you held me in the water?"
"One more time."
"When, why can't I remember?"
"The time you fell asleep next to my bed, I woke up in the morning and took you to bed to sleep. When I went downstairs, you disappeared."
"Oh look, I forgot about it last time when I fell asleep."
"Why is Xue feeling uncomfortable?"
"Because the sister of the queen of our flower land wanted to compete with the queen for the throne, so a fight broke out."
"I went to help the queen fight. I was a small flower fairy, and my magic power was not as high as that of the big flower fairy. So I got hurt and was accidentally beaten out of the flower realm. I can't maintain my human form."

Chi Nanjin held her hand tightly, "Is your injury healed now?"

The corners of her mouth curled up.
When we reached the top of the mountain, we waited for a while and then we saw the sun setting over the sea of clouds. The mist was like a golden crow, and the sea of fog and the clouds were dyed with layers of warm rosy clouds.
Chi Nanjin took out his cell phone and put his arm around her shoulders. "Want to take a picture? Us, and the sunset."
"Yes." She looked at herself in the camera and smiled, then looked at him in the camera, her heart pounding.
After the photo was frozen, she asked: "I like you, right?"
"I checked, the fourth answer is heartbeat."
"Don't ask me, ask yourself." Chi Nanjin put away his phone, stood sideways opposite her, leaned over and looked at her with a smile.
He held her wrist, pulled her hand to her heart, and gently kissed the corner of her lips, his breathing slightly disordered, "Your heartbeat has already given the answer."
Her eyelashes fluttered and her breathing became lighter.
"Axue, I like you, for sure."
"I want to be Little Rose's boyfriend, is that okay?"
