"Being unable to see makes you more sensitive to sound, so I listened to the sound of the ocean, and then asked my partner to find me a flute so I could try to play it."
Most of the time, she is alone as a mermaid. When it is quiet, she feels that the ocean is alive and full of sounds.
Felice had her companions, who only came to play with her occasionally.
She was one of Felice's many choices, but Akhfeya was already content. At least, she still had a friend.
"Ahfuya is very smart."
Aihefeiya looked towards him and stretched out her hand. "Can I touch you? If I go home one day, I hope to have a deeper impression of you."
When she came here, as long as he was around, she would often hear praise from him, and she thought she liked it here a little.
Or maybe, I like him.
Lorsis looked at her, raised the corners of his lips, leaned over, took her hand and held his face, "Touch it."
Ahefuya stroked her fingers over his face, her cheeks quietly flushing.
Her hands were really soft. Lorsis breathed softly and felt a little itchy in his heart.
Ahephia moved her finger upwards, touching his lips.
He has soft lips, a straight nose, deep eyebrows and eyes, but his skin is a little rough.
But it seemed understandable. The maids said he was a good fighter, and the sun on land would make his skin rough.
It was different from what she had imagined. After all, the maids said that the Duke looked ferocious, so she thought he would be a little ugly.
Now it seems to be feeling a bit good-looking?
The changing expressions on her face were very interesting. When she finished touching him, Lorsis asked with a smile, "Why, am I very different from what you imagined?"
Ahefuya hesitated for a while, then nodded and said, "I thought you were not good-looking, but maybe..."
"Could it be possible that it looks wild and ugly?" Lorsis continued.
She pursed her lips.
Lorsis grabbed her wrist and pulled her hand down. "The maids were too timid to look up at me. They could only identify who I was by looking at my shoes and clothes."
"That might just be the impression I give them. They might be curious and want to look up to see what I look like, but they don't dare to see my face clearly."
"You can let them look at me and ask them what I look like, or you can just ask the cooks or the guards."
The chef brought the afternoon tea over and heard what Lorsis said, "Miss Ahefuya, the Duke is actually very handsome, even more handsome than the prince. All the bad words were spread by hateful and evil enemies."
"The Duke is also very good to us. He pays me a high salary, and my job is not difficult."
Listening to the chef's sincere words of admiration, Ahefuya lowered her head in embarrassment.
Lorsis wrapped the cup in a cloth and placed it in her palm, "This is hot chocolate."
"It's okay. At least even though I look ugly in Ahefuya's impression, the beautiful Miss Ahefuya didn't reject me."
"Drink it, the slightly hot taste is just right."
Ahefuya took a sip from the teacup.
When she put the cup down, Lorsis took a small piece of hazelnut caramel jelly with a fork and handed it to her lips, "This is hazelnut caramel jelly."
He had asked the chef about afternoon tea, so he, who seldom eats desserts, memorized the name of every dessert.
She opened her mouth, took a gentle bite, and tested the position of the fork with her hand, "I can eat it myself."
Lorsis held her hand and gave her the fork, "Okay."
Akhefya sat quietly eating her dessert, but she could feel his gaze.
He wasn't being reserved, she actually understood everything.
