Chapter 78 Mom won't let you in (1 / 2)

Jiang Qingyi leaned against the door and took a deep breath. "Go away. I don't want to see you now. If you ring the doorbell again, I'll ask the property management to kick you out."

She was very confused.

Her previous escape seemed like a joke, but her remaining self-esteem prevented her from lowering her head, nor did she want to.

She did feel very tired being with Jing Qingze. She couldn't understand what he was thinking. She always felt that he was so far away from her and she couldn't catch him.

He never speaks and remains silent forever.

He never said he loved her, and she didn't dare to ask. People who fall in love first are probably humble.

Jing Qingze's body stiffened and he put down his hand that was about to ring the doorbell, but he was still unwilling to leave.

He squatted outside the door, lost in thought.

The door next door opened, Jing Chenyun came out, glanced at him and walked to the door.

"Xiaochen."

Jing Chenyun turned and looked at him.

Jing Qingze stood up and half-knelt in front of him, "Did your mother tell you about the relationship between her and me?"

"No."

Jing Qingze felt bitter, "Do you want to know?"

"Go ahead." If she asked her mother, she would be sad again.

It's okay if your dad is sad.

A little head popped out from the door next door, and Jing Chenyun waved at her.

The little girl dragged out two small stools and he pulled her to sit down.

Seeing the little girl staring at him with her eyes wide open, full of excitement for hearing a story, Jing Qingze was silent for a while.

"I met your mother at an alumni meeting. She and I were alumni of the same school, and I met her when I went back to my alma mater to give a speech."

"She said she liked me, so she pursued me for half a year, and I agreed..."

"You are not good at all, why does mom like you?" Jing Chenyun asked sincerely.

Jing Qingze choked, "What's wrong with me?"

"Even I can coax my mother, but you want my mother to coax you. You don't even tell her that you like her. Why should she like you?" Jing Chenyun looked at him.

"You obviously have a mouth, but you don't speak, leaving mom to guess."

"If you don't tell me, how will mom know?"

"You didn't protect her well. Everyone around you bullied her. You didn't realize it until they were done bullying her."

"I like my mother and I will tell her that I love her. Why do you hide it?"

This was the first time in Jing Qingze's life that he was taught a lesson by a child, and he was not allowed to refute at all.

"Star, let's go."

"Ah~" Mo Ranxing pulled his hand, "Brother, is he really your father?"

"have no idea."

"Why don't you know?"

"My mother said so."

"Xiaochen, I'll come see you guys tomorrow."

Jing Chenyun ignored him.

The door was closed, and the boy's voice and the girl's childish words were isolated inside.

In the following months, Jing Qingze would wait for Jiang Qingyi at the door whenever she came to and from work, rain or shine, just to talk to her.

But Jiang Qingyi ignored him and he couldn't even get through the door.

Jing Qingze finally experienced the same uneasy feeling as Jiang Qingyi for half a year.

It's very painful.

Jing Chenyun stood at the entrance of the kindergarten holding Mo Ranxing's hand, looking at Jing Qingze who was walking towards them.

"Son, Xingxing, I'm here to take you home."

Mo Ranxing hid behind Jing Chenyun and poked his head out. It seemed that his brother didn't like this uncle very much.

"Where's Aunt Luo?"

"Your mother said she has not returned from an art exhibition yet, so she asked me to pick you up. You can call your mother." Jing Qingze felt depressed.

After half a year, his son is still lukewarm towards him.

Jing Chenyun stretched out his hand and Jing Qingze handed him the phone.

"Baby, mommy is working overtime tonight, so ask him to take you and Xingxing out for dinner."

"Qingyi, I can cook."

"I don't believe you. I've never seen you cook before. You just want to come into my and my house? No way!"

Jiang Qingyi hung up the phone.
