The man who brought her back claimed to be Li Bo's cousin and looked to be under thirty.
The outfit wasn't exactly fashionable—just a simple grey zip-up jacket. But one look at the material and the cut told it wasn't cheap.
The person's appearance was quite different from Li Bo's thick eyebrows and big eyes. She had slightly upturned phoenix eyes, and her eyebrows were rounded and smooth, giving her a delicate appearance.
Her lips were thin, with naturally upturned corners. Despite her cold expression, she gave the illusion of being smiling.
Noticing Xu Keke's gaze, the man smiled and said, "You look a bit younger than Xiao Bo, so you're not in the same class as him, are you? You're the second girl Xiao Bo brought home that I've seen. The other one is called Jiang Xiaofei, you know her too, right? She and Xiao Bo grew up together as childhood sweethearts. The girl is very pretty, and I heard she's also a good student, a top student."
The man didn't speak with a local accent; he spoke Mandarin. His accent was somewhat similar to Cheng Yi's. He just talked a lot.
Seeing in the rearview mirror that Xu Keke had no desire to speak, the man smiled gently and said nothing more.
The two houses are really not far apart, almost just a short distance apart.
Xu Keke got out of the car and had just turned around to thank the people inside when someone grabbed her arm.

Before Xu Keke could turn around, she was pulled aside. The original owner's stepmother, Lin Ping, gripped the car window, tilting her head to lean into the car. She questioned sharply,
"Who are you, and why did you bring her back?"
She turned back and gave Xu Keke a vicious look, then angrily shouted, "I heard that you've been getting all entangled with some men lately, shameless!"
"Why aren't you home from school? What have you been doing? You're so young and already doing nothing but causing trouble outside! Tell me, who is he? What were you doing with him? You've ruined our family's reputation!"
This woman is going crazy. Seeing her finger pointing in the air getting closer and closer, Xu Keke instinctively took a half-step back.
She wasn't going to stop it. When it comes to this kind of thing, if you're going to make a scene, you have to make a huge scene, the bigger the better. Otherwise, if it ends abruptly, she won't have had her fill of excitement, and others, only having a vague understanding, will start talking nonsense afterwards.

Li Bo's cousin got out of the car. He had his hair parted and styled with hair gel, which shimmered in the natural light.
He slammed the car door shut and walked with an air of superiority to Lin Ping.
He was very tall; Lin Ping had to look up at him. His smile was gentle, but his eyes held a haughty and aloof air.
“I don’t know what your relationship is with this student. My son, Li Bo, was beaten up outside today, and she helped take him home. I’m so sorry for keeping her late. We were in such a rush today and didn’t want you parents to worry, so we didn’t prepare anything. We’ll come to thank you another day.”
He was polite and serious. But his manner of speaking was worlds apart from Lin Ping's ramblings—one was like a cloud in the sky, the other like mud on the ground.
Lin Ping, a coward who was only tough at home, was intimidated by her cousin Li Bo's imposing manner and immediately became obedient.
She clutched at her clothes helplessly, then gave an awkward laugh and blurted out, "Yes,...is that so? No...no need to rush, you can come again when you have time."
"Dad, Dad!" Yunhan, standing next to Lin Ping, waved to the crowd outside.
Following his gaze, Xu Keke saw Yun Jiang with his neck locked, passing by outside the crowd.
He seemed to want to be seen, but Yun Han's voice was so loud that everyone turned to look at him. Yun Jiang had no choice but to turn around and reluctantly walk over.
His expression was very unnatural. He glanced at Lin Ping and asked with a hint of reproach in his voice, "Why did you come here?"
Lin Ping blurted out, "Hey! I'm not..."
Looking at the young man in front of her, and then at the crowd gathered around her, she smiled awkwardly. "I just heard some things from someone and came to ask Xiaoduo what happened."
“My cousin said that my sister is a vixen! She seduces men everywhere!” Yunhan added eloquently, speaking for his mother.
Lin Ping raised her hand and slapped Yun Han, "What nonsense are you talking about?"
Yunhan got angry after being hit and didn't understand his mother's feelings at all. He stuck out his neck and shouted, "I didn't lie. I said at home that Luna is a liar, and you didn't believe me."
Xu Keke glanced at her reflection in the car window. A vixen, seducing men—no one could believe it given the original owner's thin, small, and withered appearance.
"Your mother-in-law raised her granddaughter alone, and you haven't even shown your face since she turned 18. Such an honest child, and you never even care about her. Yet you come here to scold her based on hearsay. This person's heart is corrupted; everything they see is dirty!"
The elderly woman next to her was a long-time neighbor. She had watched the original owner grow up and already had grievances against the couple. She immediately started criticizing Lin Ping.
The people around chimed in, "That's right, how old is Xiaoduo's grandma? It's one thing for her not to come herself, but she won't even let her see her grandson. With your character, how can you two possibly raise a child like that!"
People around started chattering, all criticizing Yunjiang and his wife for being so unfilial.
Yun Jiang grabbed Lin Ping's arm and said impatiently, "Alright, let's go home!"
Before the two could leave, they heard someone nearby say something else.
