Chapter 113: The Taciturn General and the Cold Little Princess of the Western Regions 13 (2/2)

Su Chaoge's heartbeat involuntarily quickened a few beats, but she tried to remain calm, smiling and nodding: "Okay, Your Highness."

The distance between the two of them was shortened a lot, and they could feel each other's breath.

Rong Jingyuan's gaze lingered on Su Chaoge's beautiful face, his eyes revealing an imperceptible determination and calculation.

The food came up quickly, and Rong Jingyuan served Su Chaoge food from time to time. The two people, each with their own ulterior motives, got along quite well.

As soon as the carriage stopped, An Yi took the small step and placed it on the ground with great insight.

"Princess, we're here, slow down."

Lida got off the carriage first, then put her arms around Su Jinge's waist and picked her up.

An Yi widened his eyes beside him. He really didn't expect that such a fair-skinned little girl could be so strong.

He looked at Su Jinge's calm expression again, wondering if he was too naive, so he silently closed his shocked mouth.

"Okay, Lida, you don't have to hold me anymore, just help me back."

Lida wanted to carry Su Jinge back to the inn directly, but was stopped by her and could only put the person gently on the ground.

Out of the corner of his eye, he saw An Yi's expression and snorted at him, "What are you looking at? Haven't you ever seen a strong woman?"

An Yi touched the tip of his nose and looked away.

"Thank you for the escort, Master."

Su Jinge knelt down and saluted, and An Yi quickly dodged to the side.

Oh my God, he was so scared that the future general's wife saluted him.

"Just call me An Yi. Now that the princess has arrived safely, I will take my leave."

After saying this, he got on the carriage and left in the night.

When Su Jinge saw everyone leave and was about to go back to the room with Lida, she heard Su Chaoge's voice.

"elder sister?!"

There was surprise in Su Chaoge's voice. He didn't expect Su Jinge to come back so soon. Also, the carriage that just left didn't seem to be from the post station.

Even though she was in a state of confusion, she looked cute and lovely. She strode to Su Jinge and wanted to hold her arm, but was stopped by Lida.

"Princess Mingzhu, my princess's leg is injured, please be careful."

Su Chaoge's face showed a trace of worry. He lowered his head to look at Su Jinge's trouser legs, but couldn't see anything. He asked, "Sister, how did you get hurt? Is it serious? Let's go call a doctor."

Su Jinge's expression was indifferent, and she lowered her eyes as she replied, "I've already seen a doctor. It's nothing, I just twisted it."

It's just a minor injury. I've suffered much more painful injuries since I was a child, but my sister has never seen them.

"It's okay after seeing the doctor, sister. I'm sorry for tonight. There were too many people here. It's all my fault for not holding your hand properly. I hope you don't blame me!"

Su Chaoge walked forward and gently pulled Su Jinge's sleeve, blinking at her with innocence and purity in his eyes, his voice soft and gentle, with a hint of coquettishness.

Su Jinge turned her head slightly and looked at Su Chaoge calmly.

The corners of her mouth rose slightly, revealing a faint smile: "It's okay, sister, you don't have to apologize for this."

Her tone was calm and gentle, without any emotional fluctuations, and her expression was still as calm and composed as usual, as if nothing could affect her mood. This chapter has been read (please click on the next chapter to continue reading!)
