"They retreated." Cui Ying stood still, staring at the zombies that had stopped attacking.
They seemed to have received some kind of instructions and moved in the same direction in a well-trained manner. Even though there were humans around them, they did not launch another attack.
The people at the base also saw the zombies retreating like a tide, and they were all cheering, "We won! We won! Hahahahahahahaha..."
Lin Xi also happily hugged Su Jinge and spun around in a circle. Everyone was immersed in the joy of fighting off the zombies.
Cui Ying walked up to Lin Xi and said, "Lin Xi, I have something to tell you."

Lin Xi and Su Jinge looked at each other and looked in the direction Cui Ying said, but saw nothing.
But he didn't look like he was lying.

In a villa not far from here, a man in a shirt and black pants was sitting quietly beside the bed, his dark and deep eyes staring lifelessly at the cheering people.
Passing through layers of walls, he seemed to meet the gaze of Lin Xi and the other two who were looking at him, and a faint smile appeared at the corner of his mouth.
The frighteningly pale hand stretched forward, revealing skin at the wrist that looked exactly like a zombie's.
He said with difficulty: "Come back...hehe...come back." These two words were said with great effort, as if he had not spoken for a long time. Then, he seemed a little annoyed and began to roar.
This creature that looks so much like a human is actually a zombie!
