Chapter 19: The Strong and Rough Man and the Delicate and Beautiful Lady 19 (2/2)

After hearing this, Su Jinge immediately realized what Lin Xi was talking about. Her face immediately turned red, and she bit her pink lips with her pearly teeth. The shame and anger in her eyes were about to overflow.

She looked at Lin Xi with gritted teeth. Who should I blame? Isn't it you?

Lin Xi read what she wanted to express from her eyes, touched the tip of his nose, and dared not say a word.

Su Jinge yelled, "No need for you, I can do it myself. Give me the ointment." Her soft voice had no killing power, but she felt very fierce. She stared with her big almond eyes, like a kitten with its fur standing on end, which made her even more adorable.

Lin Xi had no choice but to give the ointment to Su Jinge, and said by the way: "If you are tired, just rest for a while. I'm going to go out and arrange some things with Deputy General Li Mai. If you need anything, please send someone to find me, understand? I'll come back for lunch and have lunch with you."

Su Jinge waved her hands. She was now eager for Lin Xi to leave her sight and urged him to leave.

Lin Xi hugged Su Jinge in his arms, gave her a kiss, and went out. When he left, he asked Qin Qi to come back and wait at the door in case something happened to Su Jinge.

Su Jinge looked at Lin Xi's back as he left, covering her lips and muttering, "Really? We kiss each other every day, isn't that enough?", but her face was filled with a happy smile.

Su Jinge looked down at the ointment in her hand and closed her eyes. She really didn't have the courage to apply it. Thinking that it would be fine in a few days, she put the ointment under her pillow and called Qin'er and Qi'er in.

Qi'er was waiting to talk to her mistress. She hadn't spoken to her since last night and was so frustrated that she ran to Su Jinge and said, "Miss, Miss, Qi'er hasn't spoken to you for a long time."

"When you were in the mansion before, you couldn't leave Qin'er and me by your side. Now that you've married your son-in-law, you don't have the status of us anymore."

"We don't need to take care of them when it comes to eating or dressing anymore, and we feel so empty inside."

Qi'er chattered on and on, and Qin'er didn't interrupt her this time because what she said was what she wanted to say.

Su Jinge looked at Qi'er and said with a smile.

Then Qi'er said, "But Miss, don't tell me, my son-in-law is so good to you. He doesn't want to wake you up in the morning, but he is also afraid that it will be bad if you don't eat breakfast."

"He told us not to disturb you and let you rest well. He just said you might need to sleep soon and asked us to wait on you."

Qi'er was talking incessantly. Su Jinge didn't expect that something like this would happen in the morning. She listened to Qi'er quietly and smiled from time to time to show that she was listening.

Qi'er had almost finished speaking. He looked at his mistress's face and felt that something had changed, but he couldn't put his finger on it. So he asked, "Miss, you look so good. And you give me an indescribable feeling. I feel... I feel even more... How should I put it?

Qi'er scratched his head, not knowing what to say. Su Jinge touched his face in confusion. At this time, Qin'er spoke: "Even more charming!"

"Yes, Miss, that's right. Qi'er feels that you are radiant now. You were beautiful before, but today you are particularly energetic and have a unique charm." Qi'er clapped her hands. This is what she wanted to say. Fortunately, Qin'er was by her side and helped her to add to it. She gave Qin'er a look of approval.

Qin'er smiled but said nothing.

Su Jinge was puzzled: Really? That could be...

Su Jinge came back to his senses and scolded with a smile: "Okay, Qi'er, maybe after getting married, things will be a little different from before, and not so exaggerated."

"I'm a little tired and want to rest for a while," Su Jinge's face showed a trace of fatigue. After all, he didn't rest for long last night.

Then he instructed: "Make lunch as per your instructions. Just make it with the right amount of meat and vegetables, and cook it to my taste. Lin Xi will be back for lunch at noon, so make two servings."

"Okay, Miss," Qin and Qi nodded, understood, helped Su Jinge lie down, covered her with a quilt, and left. This chapter has been read (please click on the next chapter to continue reading!)
