Chapter 243: Melancholy Little Poor Girl and Cold-Hearted Doctor 48 (2/2)

She smiled and scratched Lin Xi's palm, "Where are we going?" Su Jinge, wearing thick clothes, followed Lin Xi's footsteps clumsily. It was not until she walked out the door that she realized that she had no idea what she was doing.

Lin Xi pulled her and said, "I'll take you to see the fireworks."

Su Jinge looked up at the fireworks in the sky, glanced at Lin Xi again and again, wanting to say something but stopping himself.

Lin Xi looked at her helplessly. This woman didn't have any romance at all. The fireworks he prepared were unique.

"Get in the car."

Su Jinge sat in the passenger seat, watching Lin Xi drive towards some open places. If they hadn't known each other for so long, she would have really thought that he was going to sell herself out.

The scenery outside the window kept receding, and soon we arrived at our destination.

"Get out of the car, my little princess." Lin Xi walked to the car, opened the door, and walked out holding Su Jinge's hand.

Only then did she realize that this was the Xingang River. They were now standing on the bridge, with scattered street lights on around them, but few people around.

After all, it was late at night and so cold, so they might be the only ones out there.

There were still scattered fireworks in the sky. Su Jinge looked around but didn't see any more beautiful fireworks.

She glared at Lin Xi, a little anxious, "Where are the fireworks? Don't you want me to watch the fireworks?"

Lin Xi sent a message calmly. After Jin Lei received it, he quickly prepared the fireworks.

Lin Xi twisted Su Jinge's body, held her in his arms, and faced forward. "Don't worry, it's coming soon."

Su Jinge leaned on the railing, his dark and bright eyes fixed on the night sky.

In an instant, fireworks shot towards the sky and exploded in the night sky, brilliant and colorful.

Reflected in Su Jinge's eyes, it is full of brilliance.

She couldn't help but exclaimed: "How beautiful——"

She was watching the grand fireworks that Lin Xi had prepared for her attentively, but she didn't know that the man standing behind her was also watching her silently.

Lin Xi was very grateful for the appearance of the system, which allowed him to meet Su Jinge. Even though he had to face the woman who didn't remember him again and again with his memories, he was willing to pursue her again.

Even though he sometimes wondered why he was the only one who had this memory, while the woman in front of him knew nothing, didn't know that they had ever loved each other, didn't know anything about them.

But soon, Lin Xi was relieved. This was also good, wasn't it? As long as he could see her again, he would do anything.

Su Jinge was staring at it intently, when suddenly, a line of large characters appeared above the dark night sky.

Su Bao, marry me, okay?

There were also many exploding fireworks around them, as if blessing them.

Su Jinge was stunned at first, but then she reacted. She turned around and buried her head in Lin Xi's chest, "What are you doing? Why are you making such a big deal?"

Her eyes gradually became moist and she complained with a red nose.

Lin Xi rubbed her head, asked her to stand straight, took out the ring from his arms, knelt on one knee, and said like every other person in the world, "Su Bao, marry me, okay?"

Su Jinge nodded, "Okay, I'm willing to marry you."

She stretched out her hand and asked Lin Xi to put the ring on her finger.

Lin Xi stood up, hugged her in his arms, bent down, lowered his head, and gently pressed his warm lips against hers. Su Jinge closed her eyes slightly, feeling this sweet moment.

The fireworks around them were still brilliant, as if cheering for their love. This chapter has been read (please click on the next chapter to continue reading!)
