Chapter 7: The Strong and Rough Man and the Delicate and Beautiful Lady 7 (3/3)

"When I came out, the young lady had just woken up. She didn't say anything, but when she woke up, she called out Master Lin's name, and her tone sounded very familiar." Qi'er felt uneasy and lowered her head even more.

After saying that, Su Jinchen just snorted with an ambiguous meaning.

He instructed Qi'er, "Go and tell the kitchen to prepare some food. It doesn't need to be too much. Let the young lady eat and then we will set off."

"Okay, Second Master."

Qi'er bowed and walked towards the kitchen. After giving the instructions, he carried a basin of water back into the house.

"Miss, I have some hot water, come and wash up."

Su Jinge didn't say a word. After the two men finished dressing her up, they helped her to the yard. Looking up at her second brother, Su Jinge's tears rolled down bit by bit. Su Jinchen looked at his sister like this, walked up quickly and patted her on the back.

"Okay, okay, you're already this old, why are you still crying like a kid?"

Qin Er wiped the tears from Su Jinge's face with a handkerchief. Although Su Jinchen was teasing her, she felt a pang in her heart. It seemed that what Lin Xi said was right. Ge Er couldn't let him go! But she still smiled at Su Jinge.

"Come, Ge'er, your brother asked the servants to prepare food. You have slept for the whole afternoon, so you must be hungry."

Su Jinchen helped Su Jinge sit on the stool and hurriedly picked up a bowl of food for Su Jinge.

"Look, brother sees that you have become thin due to hunger." As he said this, he kept picking up food for Su Jinge.

Su Jinge burst out laughing, "Brother, you treat me like a pig. There's so much, how can I finish it?"

Qin'er and Qi'er also covered their mouths and laughed secretly, but the three of them couldn't help but sigh, it's good that you stopped crying.

After finishing the meal and sending the servants away, Su Jinchen knew what Su Jinge wanted to do when he saw this situation. What was coming still came, but he did not intend to escape.

"Okay, go ahead," Su Jinchen looked at his sister helplessly.

Su Jinge didn't feel embarrassed. She knew she had a brother, so why wouldn't she say anything? She asked, "Where's Lin Xi? Is he really gone?"

"Sister, tell your brother if you really like him."

Su Jinchen stared at Su Jinge.

Su Jinge: "Yes, I finally met someone who suits my taste, and I only want him."

Looking at Su Jinge's expression, Su Jinchen didn't intend to hide it from her. He knew what his sister was like and couldn't hide it at all.

"He went to the army and wanted to have a status worthy of you. He also said... that you should wait for him."

Su Jinchen thought: Although I agreed to Lin Xi, my sister is still the most important, and this will make Lin Xi work harder, right?

Su Jinge opened her lips slightly, her face filled with surprise. "Join the army? He... who wants to wait for him! He made me so sad." If she hadn't used such a shy tone, her tone would have been somewhat believable.

"Okay, go back to the house and see if there's anything you need to pack. Get ready to go home. When mother heard that you were missing, she was so anxious that she even threw away her dignity as the Prime Minister's wife."

Su Jinchen looked at his sister and pouted slightly after hearing what he said.

"Of course, my mother loves me the most, huh."

Knowing that his sister had suffered, he did not argue with her. He stood up and told the servants to pack up and set off. This chapter has been read (please click on the next chapter to continue reading!)
