Yin Changling reached out, extended his palm, and waved it in front of Tu Shanlingxi, tentatively asking her a question.
"Xi'er, do you still recognize me?"
Upon hearing this, Tu Shan Lingxi raised her head in a drunken stupor. Her bright black eyes seemed to be covered with a layer of mist, her almond-shaped eyes filled with water, making her breathtakingly beautiful.
She looked at the man before her, her small, fair hands flailing as if trying to grab something swaying back and forth, but she felt dizzy and disoriented—how could she possibly grasp it?
In Tu Shan Lingxi's eyes at this moment, Yin Changling always seemed to be swaying in front of her, so close yet so out of reach.
In the end, Tu Shan Lingxi's efforts were in vain, and she still couldn't catch anything. She was so tired that her forehead was covered in a fine layer of sweat.
The little fox was tired and didn't want to play with him anymore. She pouted her bright red lips slightly and complained.
"You bad person, Fox isn't playing with you anymore, hmph!"
Tu Shan Lingxi was a little drunk and her speech was slurred, so Yin Changling didn't hear the word "fox" clearly. Otherwise, he would have made the connection long ago.
Yin Changling thought to himself, "Oh no, I think I've given her too much to drink. Xi'er is clearly completely drunk and doesn't seem like she can answer my questions."
But as a last resort, Yin Changling did not give up. He brought his face closer, wanting Tu Shan Lingxi to recognize him again.
"Xi'er, do you see who I am?"
Tu Shan Lingxi looked at the magnified handsome face in front of her, and she seemed to have taken Yin Changling's words to heart. She opened her eyes somewhat dazedly and tried hard to make out his features.
"Yin Changling!"
The little fox touched the beauty mark at the corner of his eye, and a fragment suddenly flashed through her mind. She blurted out his name.
She suddenly remembered that she seemed to have seen this person before, and that he had even cried in front of her. Who was he again? Yes, it was Yin Changling.
Thinking of that memory, Tu Shan Lingxi grinned, revealing her neat white teeth, and grabbed his face with her little hands, laughing as she spoke.
"You're the crybaby Yin Changling, hahaha, the one who always cries!"
!
Okay!
Can't this little girl remember even the smallest good thing she did for me?
Yin Changling was speechless. He finally understood that this little guy was a mischievous monkey, unruly and naturally undisciplined.
"Do you remember Yin Yi? What entanglement do you have with him?"
Yin Changling felt that Tu Shan Lingxi's constant touching on his face was a bit of a nuisance and made him feel irritated.
He simply pulled her onto his lap, restraining her hands to prevent Tu Shan Lingxi from moving around freely.
He asked the question word by word, especially emphasizing Yin Yi's name. After he finished speaking, he stared intently at Tu Shan Lingxi's face, waiting for her answer.
"Um... Yin Yi... Yin Yi."
Tu Shan Lingxi was drunk, and her thinking was much slower than usual. She was thinking in a daze, and her little head was about to explode.
Finally, she unearthed a memory of Yin Yi from some obscure corner, squinted her eyes, and answered in a muffled, hesitant voice.
"Him? Humph, he's a big bad guy. He killed me, and he skinned me alive and pulled out my tendons. That bastard, it hurt so much."
As Tu Shan Lingxi spoke, she seemed to have thought of something terrifying, her whole body trembling, her thin and small body curled up, looking very pitiful.
As she thought about it, she seemed to empathize and feel the real pain, and suddenly burst into tears.
"Ouch...it hurts so much. He's so mean. He skinned me alive to make a scarf for a bad woman. It hurts so much..."
Her tears fell like beads from a broken string, rolling down her rosy cheeks, making her look exceptionally pitiful.
"Okay, okay, stop crying."
Seeing Tu Shan Lingxi like this, Yin Changling could no longer press for answers. Seeing the little fox's tearful eyes, his heart ached terribly.
