Chapter 172 Front Row Surrounding the God's Daily Romantic Encounters 76

The woman was indeed the goddess Rebecca, but she didn't look European at all; instead, she had an Asian appearance and spoke Mandarin.

She said the elders came to the wedding to curry favor with her, hoping she would protect the entire tribe, ensure good weather and abundant harvests, and secretly boost their business.

Yi Mu couldn't understand why his marriage to Zong Ao would be used by the elders to curry favor with her, the goddess.

Rebecca took off her laptop and opened an interface for Emu to see.

Yi Mu glanced at it and quickly turned his head away. The screen was full of mosaics, harmonious sports, and most importantly, the two people doing the sports were both men.

"Hehe, it's just one of my little hobbies. You and your husband are absolutely stunning, damn it!"

Rebecca thought about what she had spied on last night and couldn't help but touch her nose, feeling like she was about to have a nosebleed.

After this incident, Yi Mu no longer had any reverence for this so-called goddess.

"How did I get here? What's the situation outside?"

The way it looked like a storm was terrifying.

Who knows what that elder will do after the ceremony? Zong Ao has to face so many fanatical believers who are hard to doubt.

Yi Mu feared that Zong Ao would be used as a sacrifice to the gods.

Rebecca put his mind at ease.

"As far as I know, the army has already detected the signal left by your husband, and they have reached the outskirts of the tribe."

Another team is approaching. It's dangerous outside, so you stay here. I'll conjure up anything you want.

The young lady was so considerate; for the first time, Yi Mu was grateful that he had such a likable face.

He wanted to see how things were outside, and Rebecca readily nodded and waved her hand.

A large screen appeared in the pitch-black space, displaying a 360-degree panoramic view of the outside scene.

Just as Rebecca had said, Imu saw a group of soldiers in camouflage break into the tribe and even saw Guan Shengye's face.

Zong Ao was restrained by a group of people, with a sharp spear pressed against his throat.

Yi Mu's heart jumped into his throat.

There are many strong young men in the tribe, and they set traps everywhere.

Those who have never set foot on this land will surely be harmed by the trap.

As Yi Mu was thinking this, he saw someone step into the net covered with fallen leaves and be hoisted high into the air in an instant.

There was also a large pit covered with thin planks, and a rope tied to two trees, from which about twenty wooden arrows could be shot out at the slightest movement.

These traps, though formidable, were no match for the rescue team armed with knives and stun guns.

These people are nothing compared to someone who has received professional training.

In less than half an hour, everyone present was subdued.

The army officer walked up to the clan chief, his expression serious, and it was unclear what he was saying.

Rebecca sighed regretfully, "You're too fragile. I wanted you to stay a little longer."

She looked at Yi Mu's face with reluctance; it was just too damn captivating.

Yi Mu felt a chill run down his spine under her gaze, and forced a smile: "Thank you for saving me, goddess. I have to go now."

Rebecca's gaze fell on his neck, a subtle smile appearing on her face: "It's fate that we met, let me give you a gift."

Before Yi Mu could answer, she raised her hand, pressed it against Yi Mu's forehead, and muttered a string of technical terms.

Yi Mu felt a burning sensation between his brows. He involuntarily closed his eyes, and when he opened them again, he was back in the real world.

Most of the tribe was subdued, with only a few women and children huddled in a corner, their eyes wary and fearful as they stared at the uninvited guests who had suddenly barged in.

Guan Shengye was the first to discover Yi Mu, and his fatigue from the past few days vanished instantly.

Putting down the stun gun, Guan Shengye smiled across his filthy face and opened his arms to Yi Mu.

Yi Mu breathed a long sigh of relief after surviving the ordeal, quickened his pace, and ran towards him.
