Chapter 183 Front Row Surrounding the God's Daily Romantic Encounters 87

Yi Mu took a step back, his mind a jumble.

When your existing understanding is suddenly interrupted and you are told that the facts you believe are wrong, you may not be able to accept it for a while.

Moreover, it involves his children, the children he cares about most.

The two children inside the bed blinked their big, innocent eyes and blew bubbles as they played.

The bed was big enough, and I don't know how the two little brats managed to keep their distance from each other, looking like they didn't want to see each other at all.

Yi Mu hadn't thought much of it before, since they were fraternal twins and the brothers would naturally get along better as they grew up.

Now it seems that genetics is indeed amazing; these two children really do look just like their respective fathers.

Yi Mu didn't realize that he had quickly accepted the fact that Zong Ao was the child's other father.

Zong Ao waited for Yi Mu's answer, then put his hand on Yi Mu's shoulder and turned him towards him.

"Do you already have the answer in your heart?"

Imu calmed himself down: "I can't be sure, I need to do some further confirmation."

Zong Ao was always decisive: "I'll go and hire a specialist to do a paternity test."

The door to the room was suddenly kicked open with a bang, and Guan Shengye stood in the doorway, a cigarette dangling from his mouth, his expression arrogant.

"My son, and you're asked to do a paternity test?"

He slammed the door shut, blocking all prying eyes from the outside.

Zong Ao met Guan Shengye's gaze, lowered his eyes defiantly, and gave him a dark, cold look.

He put his arm around Yimu's shoulder and shielded him behind him.

"I never knew you were so blind. You didn't even notice that there was a child who didn't look like you at all?"

Guan Shengye took a deep drag on his cigarette and exhaled a thick cloud of smoke.

He didn't rush to answer Zong's idiotic question. Instead, he looked at Yi Mu with gentle eyes, softened his tone, and beckoned, "Yi Mu, come over here."

In the year or so since they got married, Guan Shengye often called Yi Mu in this tone.

Yi Mu instinctively took a step forward, but halfway there, his hand was grabbed by Zong Ao.

Zong Ao used to think he had nothing to offer Yi Mu, but things are different now.

He is now 80 percent certain that the child is his.

The child was the bond that held them together, and he and Imu became connected.

Yi Mu and he were destined to be entangled; it was fate.

Guan Shengye threw away his cigarette butt, stubbed it out with his leather shoe, tilted his head, stared at Yi Mu's hand, and said in a gloomy tone, "Let him go."

Being men, Zong Ao quickly understood what Guan Shengye meant.

Zong Ao released Yi Mu, loosened his tie with one hand, and placed it in Yi Mu's hand.

He no longer restrained his emotions; his voice was so soft it seemed to melt water, a gentleness unique to Yi Mu.

"I'll keep it for you until I get back."

Guan Shengye chuckled, took off his coat, draped it over Yi Mu's shoulder, and gave him a passionate French kiss.

Yi Mu couldn't catch his breath, his face turned red, and he punched Guan Shengye's chest before Guan Shengye let go.

Guan Shengye gave Zong Ao, who was expressionless, a provocative smile and wiped the drool from the corner of Yi Mu's mouth with his thumb.

"Let's go home together later."

That was a devastating blow.

Zong Ao stomped his leather shoes hard, making a loud noise, and walked out of the room without looking back.

Yi Mu didn't know what they were going to do. After Guan Shengye took off his coat and gave it to him, he followed them out.

With no one to look after the child in the room, Yi Mu was worried, so he could only wait curiously for the nanny to come.

After a while, the room door was opened from the outside.

A heavily made-up woman, reeking of alcohol, walked in.

Yi Mu stood up, initially not recognizing the woman.

He thought she had come to the wrong place and gently advised her, "Miss, there are children here. If you want to find a place to rest, you can freely enter any of the rooms next door."

The woman's lips were painted bright red, her smoky eye makeup was smudged, her eyes were dark-circled, and her face looked haggard, like a withered flower.

She looked at Yi Mu with blurry, drunken eyes and a strange expression.

"You're a monster. A man who can give birth? If I tell the research institute, do you think they'll arrest you and dissect you?"

Yi Mu slowly stood up, staring at the woman's face with a cold expression.

He remembered who she was: Liu Rui. He never expected that she would change like this after more than a year.
