"Since this is our first meeting, let me introduce myself. My name is Xiang Cong, you can call me whatever you like."
A bold girl raised her hand and asked with a coquettish smile, "May I call the teacher by his name?"
Xiang Cong smiled and nodded at her: "Okay."
The troublesome boy in the class, with a gruff, hoarse voice, raised his voice and asked, "Will you answer when I call you, Lao Xiang?"
Xiang Cong raised an eyebrow: "I'll answer if you call me Dad."
The whole class burst into laughter, and the boys clicked their tongues in surprise, not expecting the new teacher to be so assertive.
These two simple sentences left a deep impression on the students.
It was too hot, so Xiang Cong didn't let them run and told the female students to sit and rest in the shade.
Then, he led a dozen or so boys to the gym, took out their uniforms, and had them change into them before heading to the basketball court.
Although some boys were afraid of the heat, they were all exceptionally excited as they played on the court and were supported by the excitement of the girls in their class watching.
The original owner wasn't an active person, and Yi Mu didn't have the inclination to run around foolishly in the sun.
He told Xiang Cong that he wasn't feeling well and wanted to go back to the classroom to rest.
Xiang Cong's gaze fell on him, sharp and inquisitive.
“I heard that you just transferred here not long ago, and you’ve been missing class activities because you’re not feeling well, so you’ve been sitting on the side watching.”
Yi Mu slightly raised his eyes, but there was no warmth in them.
"Teacher, I said I want to go back to the classroom." He emphasized the words "go back to the classroom," his attitude firm.
Xiang Cong lowered his dark eyebrows, his expression turning slightly angry.
"Am I the teacher or are you the teacher? I can't say for sure. You better stay here and behave yourself."
Why is this person so inflexible?
Yi Mu turned the brim of his baseball cap behind his head, revealing his black eyes with a hint of red.
He stared into Xiang Cong's eyes, lowered his voice, and spoke in a seductive tone.
"I'll go back to the classroom, you go back to the basketball court, go ahead."
High-ranking vampires possess the ability to control people's minds, and Yi Mu excels at this.
Xiang Cong's eyes slowly became dull. His counter-surveillance was actually quite good; he put up a momentary resistance.
However, Yi Mu's abilities were too strong; as a mere human, he simply couldn't resist the pressure from the pureblood.
Xiang Cong started to move, turning around stiffly.
Yi Mu's lips curled up slightly.
Before the smile could even reach her eyes, the man in front of her turned around with lightning speed.
He was hit hard on the forehead, and Xiang Cong raised his eyebrows, his face looking fierce.
"You little brat, how dare you order me around? I gave you a chance earlier, but you didn't take it. Now get your ass to the court!"
Yi Mu was stunned. How could it not work on him?!
Xiang Cong turned his head impatiently: "What are you looking at me for? Just because you have big eyes doesn't mean you can do anything. Hurry up and keep up."
Having suffered a defeat, Yi Mu could only follow behind him to the field, looking dejected.
The boys had been fighting hard on the field for a while, and two of them came down, wiping away sweat from exhaustion.
Yi Mu and Xiang Cong were positioned right at the top, with Yi Mu's position being quite peripheral.
He waded in the water nearby, staying as still as possible, too lazy to even watch a show.
Xiang Cong was furious when he saw his expression.
He dribbled the basketball, ignoring the boy next to him who was giving him the cold shoulder, and threw the ball at Yi Mu, who seemed to be in a daze.
A vampire's reaction time is very short; Imu caught the ball's shadow out of the corner of his eye.
The basketball, carrying a strong gust of wind, hurtled towards his waist and abdomen.
Yi Mu stood still, as if stretching, and reached out his hand, expressionless, to steadily intercept the oncoming basketball.
The girls outside the basketball court were worried he would get hit; their hearts were in their throats.
He landed heavily back down, and the fangirl screamed, "Ahhh, so handsome!"
When Yi Mu and Xiang Cong's eyes met, it was as if lightning was crackling in their eyes, and the atmosphere on the scene immediately changed.
Xiang Cong moved to the basketball hoop, beckoned to him, and gave him a provocative look.
"If you score a goal today, you won't need to come to my PE class anymore."
This temptation was quite strong for Yimu.
He dribbled the ball, half-bent down, his eyes looking upwards, filled with fighting spirit.
His body transformed into a gust of wind, passing through the dense crowd, reaching the basket, and leaping lightly.
The basketball is already hovering above the rim; all it takes is a downward dunk to score.
Just then, Xiang Cong made a move.
His figure was ghostly as he leaped up and placed his five fingers on Yi Mu's shoulder.
The immense weight pressed down, forcibly pulling Yimu down from mid-air. The ball fell from the sky and ultimately failed to enter the basket.
