After the lively New Year celebrations, Yi Mu and Xiang Cong packed their bags and prepared to fly to Europe.
Before leaving, Yi Mu approached Xian Yanglan.
Recently, under the arrangement of her family, Xian Yanglan has been going on blind dates with several barons.
She is strikingly beautiful, and even though her personality isn't particularly likable, she still attracts a lot of interest from men.
But Xian Yanglan had seen better ones, so how could she be willing to lower herself to marry someone better?
Just before the New Year, Xian Yangxin married a vampire count in the south, but she ultimately failed to be with the one she loved.
The vampires also need to expand their power.
Even Xian Yangxin, the eldest daughter in her family, could not escape the fate of an arranged marriage, let alone Xian Yanglan, who was merely the child of a maid.
When Yi Mu went to Xian Yang's house, he happened to witness a farce.
The servants forced Xian Yanglan to try on the wedding dress, but she refused. She raised her hand and slapped the servant, yelling, "Get out of here, all of you!"
The servant covered his face, angrily raised his head, and cursed her as a whore.
“Our young lady cried like that, but she still obediently married him. Who do you think you are?”
The servant threw down the wedding dress and ran away.
Xian Yanglan picked up the scissors from the tray, lifted the hem of the wedding dress, and twisted it haphazardly. In no time, the exquisite wedding dress was torn to shreds.
Yi Mu leaned against the door frame, waiting for Xian Yanglan to stop panting before speaking calmly: "If you don't want to marry, then don't marry. Why take your anger out on the wedding dress?"
Xian Yanglan turned around abruptly, saw it was him, and her expression twisted.
"If it weren't for you! If it weren't for you, I would already be living happily ever after with Xiang Cong. It's all your fault!"
Yi Mu was too lazy to talk to a person with delusions. He hadn't come here today to listen to a crazy woman's ramblings.
"I have a way to prevent you from marrying someone you don't like."
Xian Yanglan didn't believe him, but she was trapped in a cage and had no other choice.
"You're really being kind enough to help me?"
Yi Mu remained noncommittal: "I just feel sorry for you. Whether you want to come with me or not is up to you."
Xian Yanglan chose to go with Yi Mu; otherwise, she would have to marry that lame drug addict, which would be worse than death.
Xiang Cong didn't expect that Yi Mu would take Xian Yanglan with him before leaving.
Ever since he learned that Randolph's dagger was given to him by Xian Yanglan, he had harbored murderous intent towards this woman.
Xian Yanglan never expected to see Xiang Cong again. Her heart was practically flying to Xiang Cong, and her eyes spoke volumes about her feelings.
Xiang Cong didn't even look at her. He seized the opportunity to ask Yi Mu, "Why did you bring her along?"
Yi Mu tied his slightly longer hair into a small bun with a hair tie, held a chew toy in his mouth, and straightened his bow tie in front of the mirror.
"You'll see when the time comes; am I dressed too casually?"
A vest and shirt worn under a gray-blue suit jacket, light-colored straight-leg trousers, and calfskin shoes—it's a bit too fashionable.
His trip was to attend the Blood Emperor's coronation ceremony.
Xiang Cong's fingers traced a line along his waistline, thinking about taking off his clothes; that slender waist was truly enchanting.
"Even if you wear a burlap sack, they won't dare say anything."
Yi Mu thought about it and realized it made sense. He was already the head of a clan, so who would dare to talk nonsense? He would just kill them.
The Blood Emperor, being generous, sent a helicopter directly.
At Yi Mu's instruction, the original route was changed halfway.
The vampires have a place of exile, a place filled with muddy swamp forests, surrounded by giant pythons and rats, dark and fraught with danger.
Yi Mu left Xian Yanglan in this place, saying he would take her away from her suffering.
But he didn't say that he wouldn't push her into another sea of suffering.
Xian Yanglan possessed none of the abilities expected of a vampire; she was merely slightly more agile than an ordinary human woman.
Yi Mu was almost killed by Randolph with that evil dagger, and as the culprit, Xian Yanglan was not so kind as to let her go.
This swamp forest is unusually large, and there are seals around it.
Xian Yanglan was lucky to get out safely; if she hadn't, it would have been her just deserts and she deserved the punishment for her many evil deeds.
