Chapter 368 The Major General's Handsome Young Husband 28

Zeng Guangzhao braced himself on either side of Yi Mu, and his lips were just a hair's breadth away from touching Yi Mu's.

The two stood one above the other, their eyes locked, their breaths mingling.

The doors and windows were closed, and the room was not very bright.

Dim environments are more likely to produce unusual things.

Zeng Guangzhao knew that his most important task at the moment was to evacuate as soon as possible.

But Yi Mu, like a fairy, looked at him with her beautiful eyes that seemed to hold the shimmering light of a lake.

Zeng Guangzhao seemed to be bound by an invisible force, unable to move.

Yi Mu propped himself up on his elbows and leaned in to kiss him.

Zeng Guangzhao didn't move or respond until Yi Mu tried to pry open his lips, at which point he snapped out of his daze and hurriedly fled the room.

As Yi Mu watched his retreating figure, he stuck out his tongue and licked the corner of his mouth.

He refused to believe that Zeng Guangzhao was a blockhead who wouldn't be tempted by beauty.

Zeng Guangzhao ran into the yard and belatedly realized that his ears were burning hot.

He swore he saw the mockery in Emu's eyes.

He had always told Yi Mu to stay away from him, but today's incident was a slap in the face.

That's insane! Knowing the situation and what they'd be facing next.

Suddenly, as if possessed, I froze on the spot.

Also, I used to think that the thought of two men kissing made me feel disgusted.

But Yi Mu… Zeng Guangzhao slapped himself. We’re both men, what’s with the soft touch?

Zeng Guangzhao was nowhere to be seen until late at night. It wasn't until just before going to bed that he told Yi Mu that he would go to the mountains with him to report for duty in a few days.

They went to the mountains to take up their posts without official appointment letters.

On the military side, Yi Mu was dismissed from the army on the grounds that he did nothing and was mediocre and incompetent during his tenure.

Before dawn, a horse-drawn carriage stopped in front of the Yi family's house.

Under the dim moonlight, Yi Mu and Zeng Guangzhao were escorted out of the city.

The mountain road was rugged, and Yi Mu was jolted awake, only to find that half of his body was lying in Zeng Guangzhao's arms.

When Zeng Guangzhao saw that he was awake, he pushed him aside, raised his voice, and made a disgusted face.

"You're too heavy."

Yi Mu rolled his eyes at him, thinking he would have to teach Zeng Guangzhao how to speak properly in the future.

I pulled back the car window curtain and looked out; the bushes were rushing past.

Zeng Guangzhao asked the driver how much longer it would take to reach their destination, and the driver replied loudly, "Half an hour more. Gentlemen, get comfortable. The ride ahead is quite bumpy."

Not long after he finished speaking, the car suddenly jolted violently, and Yi Mu's body was thrown uncontrollably towards the roof.

If Zeng Guangzhao hadn't been quick enough to grab him, Yi Mu would have definitely bumped his head.

Zeng Guangzhao shouted to the front, "Please take it easy!"

The driver replied, "There's nothing I can do. The mountain road is really difficult to travel. Just hang in there for a while."

Zeng Guangzhao cursed inwardly, thinking, "I still have to hold on a little longer."

Yi Mu couldn't sit still at all. He was rather frail, and once he let go, he bumped around all over the carriage.

As soon as Zeng Guangzhao let go, his shoulder slammed into the carriage.

Helpless, Zeng Guangzhao could only keep a cold face and hold him tightly in his arms.

Seeing that his face looked as sour as if he had defecated, Yi Mu felt angry and said, "Let me go."

Zeng Guangzhao's face remained dark: "Shut up and stay put."

Yimu nestled in his arms.

Several times the car bumped so badly it almost flipped over, and Yi Mu was a little scared, so he involuntarily shrank into Zeng Guangzhao's arms.

Zeng Guangzhao frowned, but pulled Yi Mu closer to his chest.

Zeng Guangzhao did not let go until they reached a slightly flatter section of the road.
